Did my first one. Hated the console-inspired boss battle but got through.
For what? Not a single item worth keeping. A Mother’s Embrace ring with stats that were either average in range or lowest. And the 913 tier item has stats a 700 tier would have had. Am I missing something. This was 9 items from more than 9 ND and the end results was a much tougher boss and similar or worse reward.
It is a serious question - is there a point I have missed having done it only once (as I have three more Glacial Fissure sigils)?

You shall soon learn that 99.9999% of items you get are full garbo. Just keep playing a bit longer and you’ll see how this works out.
But yea, there’s a reason to do the ice beast. It can drop a select few good uniques one might need on the journey to no where.

And the unigues you find are garbo. What you really need, you can’t get. This is Diablo, if played D3 You know.

Of course there is the point. The point is you bought the game to play the game and playing the game is the point. All aspects of the game design are intentional and deliberate design. The point of this so boring, frustrating, irritating, crashing, freezing, etc, etc, game is whatever it be for you. A player runs to 100 in the blink of an eye, repeats in another blink and repeats and let’s not forget the one shot kill of World Bosses. The blizzard purpose to rubbish the brand DIABLO, has a purpose and soon enough this will become clear. But it may cost you/us another 100$. Hidden within the game another game is metamorhing, transfiguring and transforming. the point is all who bought diable, bought a falshnews thing. It is what it is and its not what many thought they bought. We bought a BETA… Get out now while you can or be addicted forever with Diablo. I did 30000hour in D3. And now I am stuck here.

I run Gaping Crevasse 14 times and get only Pants and Staffs. So I got 6 same pants and 4 same Staffs. This was with sorc. When I run it with Druid I got Helmet and amulets. So I try to find Melted Heart of Selig for sorc but they don’t give it. The World Bosses gives you random items dipending on your shar. I run tem all over 10 times and always have same unigue items.
You must play and play forever to get what you need for your build, or in my opinion it is much healthy way to change to game where you Graft or bye items you can’t get. Trading in this type of game is liveblood not teams term. But after all this is Blizz choice and they must live with it. We have the choice to choose a game we want.
I think it will happen guite soon because they can’t keep Diablo alive in this way.
It is very sad becauce game have large potential.

Was any of them an upgrade to what you had? Did you find anything else in your 14 runs?
Ice beast drops fair item level, which is by itself a reason to kill it.
I know the disappointment of not finding what you’re looking for, especially on ice beast since the materials are somewhat difficult to get. But I want to point out that there’s more things than only the one item slot.
I have so many runs that it wise if I don’t tell how many. I only can say that Duriel have gived me about 100 unigues.
But only 8-10 different ones. I try to find Melted amulet to my sorc, but it is impossible to get. You can only guess how much it will cost if you have to run1000 times. You have to bye summoning items. There should not be any uber unigues. All unigues must have same drop rate and unnecessary unigues must be removed. Nobody don’t use them. Items dealing like in D3 would be very good idea in D4 too. It helps new players a lot.
So I was looking for andy’s to test it.
Told my party. One guy was like: “I’ve gotten 3 andy’s but want harlequin”
We “played”… after some runs andy’s dropped for him.
gz, i said. silence ensued.
I never got andy’s, just found harlequin after some 250 runs. thanks. harlequin’s better anyway but what do i do with it? nothing.
then i gave up cries softly.
I’m thinking of reinstalling but I just can’t see the reason to do so. I want to roam the world. I always wanted to do that but it was never a good thing to do ever since d2.
D1 had it right. It’s still the greatest in the series in my opinion. All the others have all this tech but not the concept, not the philosophy to actually make it great.
