Gold sellers convert the game in a Pay to Win, I dont understood why the company allow that toxic practices allowing to gold sellers make business with his work.
The real problem this gold sellers buy all weapons in market and them they place for billions of gold, now all the market is his market, and now all players need to buy gold if they want an item, also players than check market prices place his items for billions too.
Finally season die because market is broke and nobody sell or buy that over priced items.
If you tell me when you lauch diablo you will allow this shit, I dont buy Diablo 4, same I skip to play that toxic Diablo Immortal.
I dont go to waste my money in a pay to win game and less in a expansion.
Fix resell items, ban gold sellers account, you make games to enjoy but this is not funny this is a scam.

The only way to kill RMT is to remove the ability to trade gold, and only allow trading of items with people who were in your party when the item dropped.
But thats not gonna happen because for reasons i just can’t fathom, people want trading and auction houses and all that nonsense that is 100% guaranteed to attract bots and RMT like flies to a turd, because thats how it has always been in every online game with trading ever.
If something can be exploited, it will be exploited, and nobody is more motivated to do so, than people who stand to profit from it.

that’s a very bad idea, i have few friends who don’t play as much as myself and when they have no gold i help them out when i can.
the making an item bound once traded makes more sense… if they buying it they either want to keep it or sell it for profit
tbf though who wants to spend 30-80bil for an item to brick it?? Not me xD how players even get 80 billion? hmm 
Imagine being such a loser to buy gold items or services from these scammy websites. I really hope trading gets shut down completely just like in diablo 3 because these hackers ruin the game.

you have NO idea how big it is! the Chinese market is MASSIVE with items,gold and boosting for sale
it’s their job, their life’s to find Anyway to get duped items,exploit’s to sell make money…
half of them don’t even play they give their accounts to a 3rd party and they level them up, find ubers, basically do the game for them…
it’s hard to stop but 1 way is making items account bound once traded…
how you think most streamers got their PERFECT 3GA gear? they don’t find them they paid for it with irl money
even the BIG streamers have done it and i Know this for a fact as i was in a Chinese clan and they talk ^^
i could prob get the most biggest names in the games accounts banned if i pleased

Your friends being too lazy to farm their own gold is a really weak argument for not implimenting a restriction that would effectively kill real money transactions. As long as gold and items are tradable, there will be RMT and bots, cant have one without the other, making gear account bound after trade wont change that

Thats the point, there should be no trading, the game doesn’t need trading, D3 launched with a trading system that nearly killed the game, then went on for 10 years without trading and did just fine.
If your friend dont have time to play the game thats their problem, not everyone Elses, and its certainly not a very good argument.

You must graft hundred of times to get what you want to items. It cost so much that you have to buy gold. Blizz must change grafting, that we can choose better what we want in items. It is only way to stop buying gold.
Not hard to stop. Just make trading not possible, simple as that. I know it has its downsides but imo if the other option is to cheat things in, no thanks. Rather no trading at all at that point and have everybody just go self found and allow trading between group members only for certain hour period like in diablo 3. At least then the gold etc. traders wont be making money through it as easily.

tbf i don’t trade hardly anything anyway apart from gold to few clan members so i wouldn’t really Care if they removed it
Trading is part of RNG games. No trading no game to play.
If there are good trading system you don’t have to buy from outside sellers. Now it is the only way to get materials to run hundreds Duriel and Andariel to get Ubers. And if you want to get Uber builds it is “must”.

idk if you try D3 with HV, but i remember, spend 80% of my time on the HV buy, sell, buy, sell … and like you said “no game to play”

If you want to collect every material and every item your self, I honour that. But I don’t have so long nerves to do it. So I like to buy items from other players. I try years ago botting in D3, and no I don’t like it. It’s cheating.
But trading belongs to RNG games, like it or not, it’s everybodies own choice how they like to play. If D4 don’t have good trading system in future, I change in PoE2 when it games out.
But like I say before, you play games without trading and we play games with trading. It is so simple and we all don’t like cheating ( or do we?).
