Buy game , you wait next 1-2 year/s for the expansion and that was it.
No additional stuff,regardless if its pay to win,cosmetics or otherwise.
Most people bought 100 euros version,and Blizzard recently announced there’s gonna be 10 euros battlepas every 3 months.
You are not forced to purchase any of it,but what’s 100% for certain,you gonna get spammed in some way and forced to look at premium stuff.
Some games even have system message ,spamming your chat often to buy their stuff.
I love D4,wanted game like D4 since i bought first computer,but there’s no game in this world that’s gonna keep me playing if im getting disturbed/annoyed/distracted every once a while with $$ shop. That’s the reason i do not play most games of this kind ,and they are even for free.

This has since been addressed by Blizzard with journalists taking the wording out of context and publishing that there will be new story content every season. They have said that there will not be new seasonal story content, but there will be a brief quest based tutorial to demonstrate seasonal mechanics.
I just know that im expecting something in NS at least every few months and DLC’s now correct me if i’m wrong please.
As far as I’m aware DLC’s have not been mentioned at all yet, keep in mind Diablo 3 has only released 2 DLC’s over its 10 year to date lifecycle, it should not be used as a benchmark but shows they concentrate more on seasonal tweaks over content DLC. They have also not said if seasonal content becomes core in NS when the content has expired. This I imagine will come down down to player feedback while considering power creep. What they have said is that every 3 months there will be a new cosmetic and resource battle pass, and a seasonal ladder reset with a new temporary seasonal gameplay mechanic. We will learn more on the 20th of April, you may be right and they have not announced it yet, but as far as I know this is where we stand.
I hope i’m right because i don’t want anything to do with seasons.
