good day to everyone. I have a problem with start diablo4 from battlenet client. it said me:
the GPU you are using is not supported. You may experience graphical bugs, instablity, or poor performance while using it. Updating your drivers may resolve this.
I install last driver of radeon, but still have this msg and game not opened.
I have PC:
AMD A10-7700K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 3.4GHz
12Gb Ram
windows 10
could you advice me what to do, and if I have chance to open this game or my pc do not agree minimal requirements? I am sure there must be solution of problem!
You don’t really have a GPU after all. It’s integrated into your CPU so it’s far less powerful than a dedicated GPU. For Diablo 4 your integrated graphics is way below the minimum requirements stated here Blizzard Support - Diablo® IV System Requirements
I am sure my integrated video card must be might enough for diablo-4 it’s just needed to agree access it into client by creators. Not huge different between R9 and R7.
I could not believe that 2GB not enough for picture what I saw into D4.
Could it be problem because of old monitor?
Your integrated graphics unit might be called R7 but it’s far from operating on the same level as a dedicated GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or the AMD Radeon R9 280 which is the minimum requirement for Diablo 4.
all this names is not sense why it’s not working. I need facts and found reason why.
I found one: at deffault it set VSync “1” - needed 0, because this option will highly increase video performance… must be more reasons
(that there is no such thing in integratedvideocard that she reacts to and game blocked enter)
Your integrated GPU is indeed not supported and there’s not much we can suggest here, other than playing on a system that meets the minimum requirements.
it’s because of bitrate or why? I wanna help, and I like to solved problems.
That’s why I wanna know why exactly! When you have problem you can watch into root of it and it must be the way to solve it.
Too easy to answer: “go buy new video card while we set lower a minimal requirements”. If I come to computer store what I must said to seller? I wanna know sense of what I need what bitrate or volume amount? as I said before why exactly it’s not let me play if I am using my PC at 200%.
I am from Ukraine at front, at war, I cann’t go and buy new!
Thank you for answer and best luck!
Mine on-board Nvidia mx350 GPU crad has the same problem which is supported with D4. Even though updated all Nvidia driver and software, or disabled another on-board Intel UHD graphics card.
So harsh by blizzard.
Which part of “your graphic card is not supported” you did not understand? The game has minimum requirements in order to open and run. Your is below it (means garbage) so you cannot play until you get something better.
If you’re from “Ukraine in front of war” then maybe do something for your country instead of crying in diablo forums and trying to play.
I am fairly certain your GPU is also below the minimum requirements. Obviously i couldn’t compare both cards by myself so it’s just my 2 cents and a comparison from a website i trust. I can’t include links so if you wanna search it up yourself it’s technical[dot]city.
I’m not really all knowing when it comes to PCs, but one thing I have learnt, NEVER use integrated graphics cards for gaming. They are way below the specifications of the dedicated graphics cards with the same name. Systems with integrated graphics cards are for general use, not gaming use.
stop spam noob, and read question and sense of worlds! I wanna know what is minimal bitrate or memory amount needed for I could understand what graphics card I need… Do something for country? come here and you will understand how to be 1 vs 60 000 soldiers what was on the begining!!! shame!!! I did much for my country but did it not for money or fame!
Its you that needs to read, look over the minimum specifications for the game:
OS: 64-bit Windows 10.
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8100.
Memory: 8 GB RAM.
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 280.
DirectX: Version 12.
Storage: SSD with 45 GB available space.
Internet: Broadband Connection.
It tells you exactly what graphics card you need. Stop bringing in the state of the world to this, it has nothing to do with gaming. I am a disabled woman, looking after my disabled father, while on benefits. Yes the world sucks, there’s not a lot I can do about it though, sorry.
I also have the same problem, but my graphics card is GTX950M which is better that GTX 660 (which is minimum requirement). My laptop is MSI GL72 6QD and I just don’t know what to do, thanks for the help.
10/10 , Don’t listen to anyone else here. When a peace agreement has been made and you return home, tell the computer shop exactly what you said here and they will sort you out. You are right, emphasise on the “Bitrate” and “Volume” of the unsupported 9 years old CPU graphics.
The following page may help you understand several things & compare your card with plenty others:
search on google or any other similar tool for “Laptop Video Graphics Cards - Benchmark List” on notebookcheck (dot) net web site (it should probably end with List.844.0.h… (sorry but the forum doesn’t allow putting the full url), make sure to uncheck “Still available (not archived)” if you seek a very old GPU.
As you can guess, the higher it is in the list, the better…
If it’s not listed, you may download “TechPowerUp GPU-Z” (search for official web site link via wikipedia to avoid any risk of malware on unofficial site) which should give you most useful data about your GPU & it may help you compare with other cards.
Here, I’ll educate you on how video cards (aka GPU or Graphics Processing Unit) performance work. In short, each GPU is able to work with a certain amount of memory (in “GB” or gigabytes) and type of memory (like “GDDR5”). The minimum specs, nicely provided to you by @Fizzgig show that you either need a GTX660 or R9 280 which are respectively 2GB and 3GB of GDDR5. To give you an idea, those cards were first released in 2012 and 2014 respectively… we’re talking about 〜10 years old cards.
Now, regarding “integrated GPUs” such as yours, it is actually a CPU that is able to do graphical calculations and management. So like a CPU that does the work of a GPU as a side job. It’s just worse in every single way compared to a dedicated GPU (such as GTX660 or R9 280). You cannot even compare it’s graphical power to a real GPU because a good chunk of the CPU’s power is required for processing and not calculating/managing graphics. In short, that’s like comparing a bicycle to a car.
Drop the laptop and get a real PC (aka a “desktop computer”) that you can upgrade parts individually such as the GPU (which you can’t do in a laptop because the parts are welded together). Hell, your CPU is worth less than 30 USD on newegg and it’s not even available on amazon… You’re due for a MASSIVE upgrade.
