So i have an intel i5-8400 and a nvidia 1060 6 gb
i have played since the release of the game with no problem and today i started getting the warning GPU not supported and when i go in game it looks so bad and runs even worse and i updated the drivers for the gpu

I’m having the same problem with a 2070 super. been playing fine for weeks but after 1.0.3 update its unplayable.

It swaped to the integrated gpu of the cpu instead of my nvidia gpu after the update go intro settings and verify

On a Desktop PC this should only happen if you have your monitors plugged into your mainboard instead of your GPU. If you wouldn’t mind sending a Dxdiag to techinfo@blizzard.com with the subject “Dresiaron - Unsupported GPU D4”, that would be greatly appreciated.

Buenas tengo el mismo problema. He podido jugar todos los días con una GTX 960 y al actualizar esta mañana me dice que mi GPU no es compatible.

Looked through the Dxdiag files and while some have Laptops, where the Intel iGPU driver is potentially old, so for those with a laptop try updating the Intel driver as well.

For those on Desktop PC, the Intel iGPU driver shouldn’t come into play, at least from the Dxdiags I got, as you had your monitors connected to the GPU. Could you please check if it did what Nightraven mentioned and chose your iGPU in the Diablo IV settings and let me know here in the thread?

You just need to disable your intel graphics card in device manager.

Works a treat for me, cheers for solving nothing Blizzard and closing a ticket with no solution.

Disabled it. I managed to start the game, but with horrible performances (less than 10fps) even on low settings. I have been running the game fine on higher settings since lauch. So there’s another issue.

At least you’re on for now, better than what blizzard can offer.

Yie after disabling integrated gpu the graphics are bad… i am working for a solution to that aswell…

and i got a solution that worked for me

just manual install intel 24.20.100.6344 drivers version and game runs smooth withough need to disable the integrated one!
i am back to prepatch quality of game

Can’t install those drivers for unknown reasons. I guess I’ll have to wait for Blizzard to actually do something. Thanks a lot for sharing, hope it’ll help other people!

Thank you so much, this did solve the issue for me as well.

Just hoping having the intel graphics disabled won’t case any other (non-game related) issues.

Same here, i changed the GPU in game and it seemed to wrok fine afterwards

I’ve had the same warning message appear when clicking on the play button after the latest patch released yesterday.

The difference for me is that i have no dedicated graphics card in my desktop computer at this time and therefore nothing to switch to in the D4 settings. I am using a Intel i5-12400

I have been using this since closed beta without any problems (playing on low everything) and believe this is a supported version based on the minimum specs list.

I’ve continued playing D4 today and it’s been fine for me like it has been for the previous month and before, it was just a bit unexpected to start getting the warning message now.

I am now expecting to get the message every time i click the play button going forwards.

Not sure if this will help anyone I was getting the error and tried everything.

Thankfully I looked in my settings before I gave up and found out the game for some reason switched my adapter to the wrong GPU and switched it right back over and instantly fixed the problem!
