Grandfather Uber Uniqe is worthless even in leveling

I lucky dropped so called a uber uniqe The Grandfather. In season 4 you can temper items as you know. And two handed sword can temper 2 time with increadable damages like %200 close combat damage ext. But you cant temper uniqe items. Grandfather gives healt+stat+damage bonus+%100 crit damage bonus. A normal legendary gives them too + it can add aspect+it can insert close combat damage + and other bonus too. So how is the grandfather is uber and awsome? Its garbage becouse you lose so much for using it. And it only gives life. So please make uniqe items can be temper becouse dropping and cant be able to using such uber items realy makes this game questionable. Unless you want to make uber uniqes like “heirlooms” in world of warcraft

yeah, ubers are a joke now…

We have to use old ones. Tempering is a joke in level 61 boss is level 160, so try to kill him with poor items. They nerf items after PTR but not bosses.

u cant temper it but u can masterwork it … and its not trash its quite good for some builds

for exemple i got 733% crit dmg … when i equip it … it bumps to 1332% wich is multiplicative

Tempering on 2h is just way too strong and build defining that grandfather sucks for 90% of the builds.

once againe depends on what ur playing m8 … GF its not good for every build out there like it was in S3 … u just slap it on ur nec and u 1 shot things …

I crafted the grandfather, on my barb bash build, was very happy. went from 900% crit to 1800% crit with it equipped.
Rocked up to a pit lvl 99 and noticed instantly, im hitting less, im criting less, not even a small amount less, but near on 40m less in the wrath burst window.
Went to target dummy, with old weapon with 310% bash cleave dmg, and grandfather, and confirmed, it was not only a dmg loss to use grandfather, it such a massive dmg loss that all weapon slots can be used by nothing else other then raw dmg % to the bash modifier.

Please allow one tamper on unique, for example allow the grandfather to tamper with one weapon slot so the main ability modifiers can be applied. Fixes all the issues we have here.

Also, if you masterwork the grand father, it can proc on ignores all durability loss, even know that stat is hidden.
