Have to buy twice the expansions? Xbox / PC

Hi everyone!

I have the diablo IV in xbox and pc, just for playing at the sofa sometimes. I have the doubt about the next expansions in the future… Will I have to buy the future expansions twice, for pc and for the xbox x? Or will it be enough for me to just have it on one device?

Don’t think I ever recall purchasing a game on one platform being available for the other… you’re purchasing the license to play on those platforms.

Yes, but there is crosssave and crossplay. Its my first time on buying same game for two platform at the same time.

That’s a thing (crossplay increases the pool of online players, cross save for people that play on numerous platforms), but nothing to do with licensing for each platform.

Unless it’s F2P you’ll have to suck it up and buy a second copy… though I have no idea how that’d work for expansions and Collector editions, etc. cause it’s not something I do personally. I’m just playing D4 on PC and the SteamDeck.
