when i first logged into beta i did not like the health potion system, over time i became ok with it, but what are some ideas you guys have to improve or change the potion system if your not a fan of it, here is an idea i came up with
allow us to fish , cook the fish and carry it around to heal when needed
follow other health systems from other arpg’s that use flasks that fill up as your fighting
just brainstorming ideas , curious what responsese you guys come up with
i mean once you add fishing, you add cooking, and now we’re making fettuccine Piccata and orange chicken parmesan to heal and buff, just not sure how diablo that is.
They MUST limit it, in diablo 2 its way easy to pot-spam, it even makes pvp annoying.
I did not mind the 4 limit, it also upgraded to 5 after leveling or a quest, can’t remember, so I think it will go higher as well. I think the current system is good.
Current state of health potions is fine I think. It is not so complicated as in D2, and limit of potions makes game more challenging. Mobs drop potions quite often so you always can get them back.
IMO it would be nice to have mana / rage potions, just 1 stack of it for emergency/burst moments.
Some potions can be created and it nice, maybe there will be more recipes at the end game, will see.
I Forgot to check during the Beta but i think lifesteal and or life on hit are making a re-appearance in D4, could be wrong but if it is then problem solved.
I really hope they wont add something tedious like fishing into the game as it has been a dreadfully boring thing to do in past games like Wow. Personally i would prefer to keep the core of the game feeling like it is a diablo game.
