… because this QoL should be part of the game.
Otherwise, why force people to play an always online open world game with other players if you cannot share an information in the game itself and mark a global target on the map ?
The first player finding a big chest should be able to mark it for others in the same instance, whether they are in the same party or not. Or even better, this should be automatic.

Well they want you to spend more time in the event so they can reflect that play time to their shareholders. Helltides in general is a waste to me. They should do a rework on this, to be more similar to the blood harvest.

The result is the same except you have to use an external site. No one is seeking the chest by himself, so people will end up looking for the information on the site anyway.
Playtime in the event has no value for stakeholders. The time you don’t waste in this event, you use it somewhere else where it’s more valuable. So again, same result.

Agree, if we have external tools to do so, whats now the secret of finding chest ? In the end its just time we are fighting with not monsters, just run to chest in no wasted time, and go grab another 250.

It is definitely not the same. You basically HAVE to spend at least 30 minutes in Helltides, farm + finding/going to chest. Other events you do not HAVE to go through it.

I still don’t get why you state that play time in the helltide would be more valuable for stakeholders than playtime in the game itself elsewhere. Non sense.
I did not say it is more valuable. You can log on to the game for 30 minutes for most things, EXCEPT helltides. Helltides forces you to be on for longer, due to the way it is made. Which utlimately they would want to present to their shareholders. I do not understand why that is such a difficult concept to understand.
Explain to me how spending more time in helltides brings money to the company or has a value for stakeholders.
I do not see why being longer into the game would bring money to the company. On the contrary, it has costs (servers, data, …).
Buying the game, the extension, buying cosmetics in the shop or making advertisement on medias to bring people into the game and make they buy the game, that will bring money to the company, not playing the game itself actually. There is nothing in helltides that you are paying for.

That’s got nothing to do with it, hahaha.
It’s just a grind area to get mats etc. It fits well with Diablo in general as a franchise. The game has been all about grinding since forever, pretty much the same as any other ARPG, too.
Sure. Keep telling yourself that. And then wonder why it is the only area of the game that continues to get buffed, nerfed, or made required for more than just mats. Last season I only did them for the battle pass, did not even need them for the mats since I got them from salvaging (which I suspect was the same for a lot of people). Yet, this season they have made it required for uber boss (and before you start saying how other things are also required, les keep in mind legion is every 25 minutes [with world boss being an alternative], harvest zones are every hour).
The issue here is not about the grind, the issue is forcing people to spend a specific amount of time. Why are we being coarsed to go to participate an event that is designed to make us play for a set amount of time. And worst of all, not have it available to us on a back-to-back schedule like legion or even the harvest event.
