Where is my powerfantasy?
Diablo was the kind of game where you can get incredibly strong and resilient and mow down hordes, with the right items and skillchoices.
Seasons have to deliver even more of that: More power = more fun and I happily level a new character (faster!) in a new season, but not like this:
Nerf everything , kill the damage, kill the defense, so a season character will take even longer to level?
I dont know, if im up for that, there are other games, which bring the fun Diablo doesnt want to.
Again and again you look at the nolife-streamer-gamers, balance the game so they are busy longer, while millions of casuals get totally busted with those changes.

Oh and i really do enjoy the thing that all the gear you find falls through a sieve, when 95% of the gear goes straight to the shredder because of low ilvl’s it pisses me off. Feels bad looking ilvl 600 gear drop from a tier 40+ nightmare dungeon. Especially when it happens to be a ancestral unique.

With one small patch, they ruined the fun for all of us. Bad ideas made worse and tested by no one before launch - this is what I see.

You are hereby encouraged to obtain paid seasonal pass, since all or most the boni to exp and obols rates will be there. Also its not specified, but I guess all cosmetic already in game will need to be unlocked anew, so to look like You want some player will probably cave and buy shop items. Also nerf bats and seasonal content and mechanics being limited to season only make Eternal character simply obsolete.

It doesnt work that way. They collect data about everything we do in this game. So after they collect data, it will be summarized and then lead designer and probably few more will meet and look at it. They will look data and see if over 90% players doing same thing or using same stats or builds, then its easy way to nerf that. It must be too good if everyone using it. It was with little sarcasm but it is actually how it is.
They dont have time to test the builds people come up with. They see few videos of broken aspects and then jump on to nerf to the ground those classes. The interesting thing about all the nerfs is that few classes kept their few shots Lilith killing specs. It could be they dont know how to nerf poison interaction and keeping it alive.
We dont have PTR also so that means they will do nerfs by hit or miss style. It will be a big mess when S1 launches. I’m sure there will more broken stuff and undesired stuff happening. Streamers have already found hidden nerfs that didnt make into patch notes.

WTF did you decrease cinder drops ? You made mysterie chests costs more to open, but now you can clear whole packs, without getting 1 single cinder! Also increasing leave dungeon time to 5 secs. It feels like youre doing everything to make the game feel like an absolute chore to play.

The game has extraordinary potential, but the people who are in charge of making these decisions are complete inept and idiots who don’t know what the hell they’re doing.
It’s a matter of reading the comments before the nerfs.
We’ve found that critical strike damage and vulnerability damage are often prerequisites for a successful build in Diablo IV. son of a p… if it is essential for them to nerf it if there are no other options…
We’ve noticed that the most skilled players are slaying monsters that take a lot of levels out of them. … Once again, the son of remil himself … as the devil he doesn’t understand that this group is 2% of the entire base of the game and not 98% of those who play…
They nerfed the exp to make it a disaster to level up…
They nerfed everything good and did not improve anything. They are incompetent who do not understand what a community is and what the community asks for. If you nerf existing builds you have to buff other skills to make them useful but they don’t, I really hope they change the people in charge otherwise it’s the steal of the year.

From a Sorcerer perspective:
- the class has not been balanced so there could be more than one viable build in end-game.
- the class has serious defensive problems (we need all 4 defensive skills to survive) and defensive aspects have been nerfed.
- Resistances (sorcerer innate defensive skill) are still broken.
- Sorcerer uniques in S1 are really baaaaaaad.
- Because of the new mechanics we can’t use skull gems in jewelry → less armor.
So, who’s going to play S1?

It seems like people want D3 with ultimate power creep, so they can click on something while doing something else. You don’t need to click while you listen to podcast or watch some TV show. This is a game and its meant to be played not make background noise for you.
what did you expect from Blizzard? does anyone have a tier iv character from the developers? because with these changes i doubt anyone got to tier 3. instead of buffing the other builds, they decided to nerf everything. just typical blizzard move. at least we had fun for a week or so which is more than enough to play a blizzard game at 2023.
uninstall this game, it is time.

totally agree, I will not be scammed again. loved diablo, D3 was a big disappointment, madeit somewhat playable after a year or soof patches. D4 is also a huge disappoinment, and with patches they nowmade it even worse(!!!) GFJ blizzard!
some ppl might find it fun to constantly being oneshotted, stunned(then oneshotted), and when you finally kill some elite they have an after death effect that oneshots you too since they sometimes are close to impossible to see… I am not one of those that find it fun. if I could refund the game I would. 100%

I have played d3 for more than 6k hours. The idea is that the game should be difficult ( endgame) but not boring. The game has been set up poorly from the start, there is a gap between level 70 and 100 where the game becomes boring and monotonous. This patch does nothing but worsen that feeling that the game is missing a lot of things.
It’s disappointing, when the game came out I said it’s too expensive but it will make up for the hours I’ll spend playing, it’s been so little time and I don’t even feel like playing.
