If anything obese people, including me so I talk out of a beeingg fat position, should get a reality check and listen to facts when it comes to health issues and the dangers of beeing fat. I never seen any edition of the game that has the Druid as the only playable character, no-one is forcing anyone to play anything, it’s actually the opposite, an individuals biases, subconscious or not are preventing them from playing something they find offensive.
I really have a hard time seeing the druid shape to thankfully to have anything to do with woke, I think the druid changing to a bear and wolf(Specially a bear) should be round in the edges.

If ppl deselect a game for the body-type of one of the characters in the game, might be good to get away from the computer and get some fresh air to be honest.

Look at powerlifters, look at the world’s strongest men, looking like a malnourished load of bumps with a tan does not a warrior make.
Very happy Blizz are avoiding the weak bloated muscles bodybuilding physique and showing what a truly powerful body looks like.
I believe, the Druid design is actually pretty subjective. When I hear Druid a Gandalf like shape comes to mind, but I do not believe that would work in this game. They went for Obelix like shape, which is kinda fun I think.
I do not believe this is woke or anything, but I do feel some woke influence in the character designs sadly, that is true, but not the body shape.
Since there is no body shape customization in the game, we cannot really tell their intentions, but I think they simply wanted a asthetic that they felt like went well for the theme.
On the other hand, what this FastTrakz guy does is outright dumb to me. No there is no need to represent anyone in these games. These games are about enjoying yourself in a virtual fantasy game, where you actually let the FANTASY take over. Only really bigoted woke people go for this representation stuff everywhere.
You can be an anorexic 40 kg person or a morbidly obese 200kg person, it won’t affect your character in game. Your taste will decide what type of character you want to play. Some people want themselves in the game, some people want their ideal self. Some people want something silly, some want whatever looks cool or best to look at.
You guys went down a rabbit hole that should do nothing with this game, or any game for that matter.

Thats how the Druid has to be fat, and play other classes argument really looks like.
Obviously this is assuming there is a woke incentive behind the design of the druid, which might or might not be true. Personally I do not see it, but I see quite a few wokeness inspired design choices, so who knows.
The heroes are made, they are specific. The body shapes are for silhouette identification and theme.
The big bear shaped hero you are about to get ganked by is a druid. That clear vital information could help you choose your tactics.
The customisation is huge, but you can’t make a 250lb bear of a man look like your ectomorph malnourished 80kg magazine model. The silhouette matters, the character design matters. It is not customisable to make them look like a different person, it’s to let you make your version of this hero look different.

The druid is not fat. He has a strong man body. Look at Eddie Hall or Brian Shaw.

No one is glorifying obesity, however it exists, always has and most probably always will, you will just need to find a way to accept that in your short time on this planet and not obsess over something completely out with your control.
