You spend hours collecting gear half of it trash and when you find something for your build it gives the same bs stat you dont want 4 times in a row. surely R in the RNG means random. how is 5 of the same thing coming up on a roll random utter Bullshivism. As for masterworking RNG its even worse. spending over 1billion and farming mats for 3 or 4 hours and getting rubbish random rolls … like put in some AI so it can help the RNG because whatever RNG you using either sucks or is broken. Add ai to it so it will see hey i kind of know what this guy wants and get it before it costs you 3bil and 30000 neathiron. I just bought the expansion but this tempering and masterworking is actually beginning to ruin the game for me and i (like others who feel this way) will stop playing and supporting the game. you guys took 3 steps forward and 10 steps back when you made tempering and mw this way … it really sucks @$$ i think you guys should fix it
No no no, this is perfect; spend two weeks hunting to find one item which could improve your gear and then you brick it only to spend another two weeks to find new item to improve your gear to brick it again, this continues 4-6 items at least, and once you finally get an item which you do not brick, you’ll notice the season is ending already and you havent been able to enjoy the gear and its powerboost at all.
This is my gaming life in Diablo 4 so far, this is why I try not to take this game seriously in any way anymore. Its a joke, overpriced joke.

The solution is simpler than you think xD. Find a meta build, and even with basic gear, you can destroy content. You can farm uber uniques. Get 2-3 uber uniques, and your character is 50% done. Drop the necessary regular uniques with 4 great affixes or farm gold and buy them from another player. And you’ve practically got 90% of your character completed, because with meta builds, having uber uniques, mid-tier uniques for build configuration, and legendaries with the right aspects, you can easily do the current endgame without any issues. However, Blizzard is blind to this and doesn’t see it. Even though they keep changing the item system, the core problem remains the same.

I feel like it’s more of a psychological issue. People think that when they say, “I just bought the expansion pack, but I don’t like this, so change it because I bought your product,” they’re using it as an argument to force Blizzard to change something. And I think that’s part of the circus we have in the game because of these kinds of arguments xD. I believe that decreased sales would be better motivation for them.

a couple of real simple changes to reduce bricking or getting given the same end temper is to remove the current temper from the array of possibles, then on the next temper remove the one it selected.
eventually they will all get selected sooner rather than re-rolling the same as the rng is pretty naff or even give more weighting to un-given tempers
