I cannot even play diablo 4 cause of crashing

I´ve tried everything, cleaning, updating, trying others drivers re installing, repairing, i have been playing since the begining, and now is crashing all the time. Is not normal, also my gpu is not even overheated and is not using all the ram either. Is not too speed fam.

Is just it crash and it restarts the game, or it blocks at 5 or 10 minutes of gameplay, i´m pretty sick of this issues, cause are not my fault, my computer is clean, and everything else goes smoth even in other games with higher expectations of high end computer, i do have a high end computer and still crashing, is only Diablo 4. So the issue here is in this game.

The same thing happens to me. I’ve tried everything, absolutely everything! And yet the game still freezes, kicks me out, Windows restarts, everything!

I played the beta without a single problem on ultra settings and now I can’t even play on low. Absurd.

Just like you, my RAM is fine, my GPU isn’t overheating or anything… Blizzard hasn’t provided any explanation.

I keep seeing topics about this issue and there are zero solutions in sight.

A response from Blizzard would be appreciated, and ideally, it would be concise and address the many problems that some of us players are facing and which keep repeating day after day.

I wish I could help somehow. That sounds really frustrating!
I’ve done a lot of odd settings on my end to help with the issues I’ve experienced with the game, but it’s not crashed since one of the early hotfixes regarding NVMe drives.
Crossing toes and fingies for your issues to be fixed with the first major patch, which should hopefully be in a week or two :grimacing:

Actually for me started when the new silent patch from day 15 June came. So they maybe touched something (cause they buffed necro, when i say buffed i say that was freaking nerfed that a flee does more dmg to the world boss and now is still nerfed), specially i´ve seen that some necromancers have this issue (i aso have bugs in the habilities) and when they chose another character the game doesn´t crash.

For me is a …¿?¿?¿?

I will try with the rogue but i wanted to level up my necro to full 100 first. But i´m pretty worried that the game destroys my 3 k euros computer that i saved from years to have it, and still paying.

It is hard to say what exactly is causing it with no diagnostic files. Could you create a Dxdiag file, upload it to Pastebin and post the link in your response.

To post the link you may need to use the option Preformatted text via the button </>

Since I also can’t play since 20.06 I will post my dxdaig. I did everything I could to check/fix my hardwere and everyother game and benchmark, even extreme 3d mark stress tests works fine. Diablo 4 crash every 20 min.

I have been crashing as well, to a black screen with no video signal, yet the computer is still responsive.
One way that has work for me consistently is playing with all low settings in windowed mode, resize the window smaller.

My crash started after the patch on the 2nd day of early released. I have never crashed up until that point. I’ve played Server Slam, both early betas, even the NDA Beta last year. None of those versions of the game had any crashes.

Run prime95 over night and see if your system is stable. Many mainboards are unstable by default and need voltages manually set.

Or just underclock cpu in bios and try again.

Orku: You have LiveKernelEvents with Codes 117 and 141, which are basically GPU timeouts. Our Overwatch article on Render Device Lost, goes over several potential fixes for it. Please try going through these.

last message in dxdiag file, does it say somehting what could help with often reconnecting?

I had such a problem and it turned out that the reason was a defect in RAM: I checked it with Memtest 86+.
Maybe you should do it too?
After replacing the defective part, the game stopped crashing and restarting my Windows
