So as the title explains i am experiencing an issue with two specific challenges :
1)Helltide commanders - from what i figured out they spawn in event from portal or tornado thing i get it but is it based on RNG or something for spawn? I have killed only 3 commanders out of the 5 and i have done over 50 events at this point i just wanna skip this. Is there an effiecient way of doing this?
2) Tortured gift of mystery - Now this is even worse than the commanders i have NEVER seen this in the game. i see it from youtube videos because i had to look it up , but holy moly where does this pop in, and i have to open like 3 i think ? is that why the battle pass takes 3 months? cause thats how long i will need to finish these 2 challenges, this is so so bad.
Need help or any tips on how to complete the above, will be very much appreciated.

You can get an idea of where events keep spawning as well with this.
Are the chests in rotation? cause like the map shows the location of the mystery chest but currently ( doing helltide as we speak ) its another chest the one of protection. Thats what i mean i have never seen these boxes.
This is so tiring cause i am doing the helltide in its full duration and its so annoying that i dont progress at all while spending so much time on it.
Any challenge that requires 1 hour + should not exist in my opinion. I am probably close to 10 hours with the above two challenges, and at this point i see no point in them. I am just a completionis and this effs me up so hard
Refresh the map-tool before you go to a new chest.
Helltides have around 2 active mystery chests at a time. After approx 30 minutes into a helltide they change to 2 others (usually).
I use https://helltides.com/ for Helltide farming.
It shows you the active Chest of mysteries (chest will have a green dot next to it) & the location of events in the zone (indicated with an orange circle).
Using this I get 3 to 4 Chests every Helltide & at least 1 Commander.
Yeah theres no way i believe you, honestly my guy that sounds absurd
