i have 300 + hours in last epoch but over 1000 hours in d4… i truly dont know why… some of the transmogs are allright but the issues that your content in the game is not paying respect to the players, i would rather use my hard earned money to support last epochs launch with that shop than here, and the reason is simple
they provide quality content and listen to feedback
they play theyre own game on streams while talking to the community
they build a game for the gamers without a cashshop and when the cash shop arrived it had nearly NOTHING, because it wasnt made to bring in money,
Buying any cosmetics for full priced game is still big mistake. Playing F2P game and buying stuff in it is also big mistake. People obviously buy them all the time, for one reason or the other, but now we are at the point of 404 game not found. Most of this stuff exist only to sell skins and other crap. Overall quality of games went down so much, but people seem to be happy with that, and keep playing all sort of empty, soulless garbage without any substance and fun. The time of good games ended, now its miracle if there is one decent game released per year.
you do know if something is NOT fun you simply play something that IS fun, and then you return when you feel like you want to play the game again 
if its still not fun you just go back and play something else for that time its not hard ^^, one mans trash is another mans treasure as they say , i also would not say that there is only a few decent games a year :), when i was a kid all i played was wow and diablo 2, for years and months, never even looked at other games that may come out, and there probably was alot of good games back then, i just didnt care, now im an adult and i like to browse the catalog of games and when i see a game i like i try it out :), times change , we are more aware of games coming out now then we were back as a kid,
Gaming industry is trash. China banned login rewards, first purchase bonuses, and other bonuses like if you buy 5 items you get something additional, and finally they banned luck based draw mechanics, that means no more gatcha - so at least china is trying to get rid of some of the toxic stuff. Maybe UE will follow.

I’m 31 years old and i still remember buying a Full game for few bucks and then have many many hours of FUN
here are some example
There was a strategy game in 1998 called populous the begining with 25 or 26 planets that you were fighting other shamans that was like few hours of GAMEPLAY 
And now listen to this since i first play that game in early 2000 i spend 6 years playing same game different way same withAge of empire 1 or 2…
I spent multiple YEARS playing d2 with only 1 expansion and no additional content

They want your money and it is obvious
Diablo 4 developers are not even hiding they going hard on people
