I'm so confused, whats going on?

I know this game is about hell but dam guys, you taking it to literal.

So let me get this straight, you nerf all the builds people are having fun with, don’t buff anything to compensate, make the game harder on top of it and don’t reward people for it and you didnt give anything the community have been asking for like:

  1. The Armory,
  2. removing the cost of respecing, so people can actually try new specs with out feeling penalized for it.
  3. improving loot at 100 so we don’t get level 65 loot ( sacred items)
  4. making the other build viable.

The list goes on, I’m just staggered by the stupidity or the blatant disregard for any common sense.

Please tell me how you thought this was going to go, I would LOVE to hear you explain this.

The named it poorly, Diablo Four? Diablo Chore more like.

Not a game for people that want to have fun, enjoyment and a sense of reward from hours input, but a game that is all about the grind, so that certain people can invest thousands of hours into the game, I’m not even sure they enjoy doing it, it’s just something to fill the void.

You got it right, more or less.

am I missing something? what is “The other build”

What is the Original

Have we gotten into the cow level yet?

What is a video game?

Why are we here?

Why are we?

What was your point again?

Holy Guacamole that made me laugh so loud at 11.47 pm that my girls woke up.

The game is built for investor analytics not players!

Nope, I think I figured it out, someone lost a bet and this stupidity is the outcome, this kids is why you don’t do drugs.

blizzard you are malignant

Are you really stealing SMH’s (shn, really) moniker for the game?

Shn:

D4 (Diablo Chore) is not.
There is no underlying system which help you to progress even when you not find and upgrade. PoE had trades and currency, D2 had runes, charms and gems. And both games are more than 10 years old, so whats the EFFING EXCUSE for Diablo Chore to not HAVE them ? Bad bad bad bad design choice. REALLY REALLY BAD.

Really… lying, misinformation, constant toxicity and now stealing another users joke and trying to make out like you are capable of an original joke.

Holy hell… :person_facepalming:

You need a kick up the bum.

In my world I was the first one to say Diablo Bore and Diablo Chore! It’s not exactly a complex use of my mind as that is how playing Diablo 4 made me feel, my brain put those words in my mouth. I’ve always enjoyed such word play.

I first said “Diablo Bore” on the July the 12th but I have been calling the game Boring almost since my first day on this forum.

You’re posts? Diablo Snore.

Care to reply to the post(s) concerning your use of Data that you’ve been fixated on? I’m not the only one who replied. You’ve been caught out… silence… didn’t think so.

In “your world”, diablo 3 players only played for 193 hours on average…

Spending 3.5% on marketing diablo IV is the reason the game is bad.

Half of players left 3 weeks ago, even though no player data is available officially.

Renown does not transfer to season.

You have to play the campaign in season to unlock the season story.

You think whining and complaining is “feedback”.

People that play 100s of hours of the same repetitive game have brain damage.

You played 1000s of hours of diablo by your own admission.

You try and poach memes.
Earliest record of “diablo chore” on the forum Diablo 4, Need more than six skill/ability slots - #24 by shn-2578

You have mastered irony.

:+1:

Nobody plays season. :person_facepalming:

Then you brag about being in the seasonal leader board once… :rainbow::clown_face:

He really does.

He thinks it smells good too.

I don’t have an opinion either way about this thread. Hell, I barely read any of it.

However, there are two posters here that need to take their petty back and forth rhetoric elsewhere.

It devalues every posts you two do this in.

lol oblivious… i was talking about YOU mate!. GTF over yourself, every post i’ve seen from you is some ‘holier-than-thou’ jibe.

In “your world”, diablo 3 players only played for 193 hours on average…

In your words, “the Average player played 13,000 hours”. Delusional  rofl.

I retracted my initial statement about 193 hours over the lifetime but you just keep on going on about it, lording that mistake over me to Gaslight my opinions on other subjects.

But expect it is not far off for the majority, with people playing haemorrhaging shortly after release (Around 1 year, shortly after the average playtime being 193 hours being release, which for the first year is Terrible. The loss of interest in the game reflected in Google Analytics and showed no signs of increasing over Diablo 3’s lifetime.

The same drop off a cliff (Showing an 81% decrease in interest) in only a month for Diablo 4, this is a very bad sign.

Spending 3.5% on marketing diablo IV is the reason the game is bad.

The game would clearly be better if they had invested an additional $35m into the game’s development. Cheap skates. Had to spend a massive part of its budget on things like Megan Fox sponsoring, lmao, we should have seen problems then.

Half of players left 3 weeks ago, even though no player data is available officially.

Google Analytics player interest in the game has decreased by 81%.

Renown does not transfer to season.

A half mistake, another thing you’ve been lording over me since. Let it go dude.

You have to play the campaign in season to unlock the season story.

Let it go, let it goooo

You think whining and complaining is “feedback”.

You think your OMG DurrrRR I luv the game so much DrrrRRR is helpful? Just write the developing team and love letter and move on, you’ve got a game to DurrrRR… enjoy DurrrRR.

People that play 100s of hours of the same repetitive game have brain damage.

I said people that played one game 13,000 probably have brain damage, yes, not 100s, no.

You played 1000s of hours of diablo by your own admission.

Around 1,000 hours over the three decade long Diablo adventure, not the insane 13,000 you invested in just Diablo 3 (What is it with D1/2? 36,000?)

You try and poach memes.

Snore. Who cares who came up with it first? If its good use it, it’s a perfect phrase for Diablo 4, Diablo Bore, Diablo Chore, Diablo Snore.

Who cares about the jokes, the biggest joke is this patch.

I honestly had a lot of hope that they could improve a lot of things with this patch and they did the opposite. Nobody guessed we would end up with less viable builds, a longer, less lucrative grind to 100 and the focus on “one-shot” damage and excessive CC at high NM dungeons being made worse.

I like D4, I think the game has a lot of potential, but this patch has set the game backwards in so many ways I actually think I don’t want to play anymore, I never thought I’d be saying that today.

Power is nothing without control. Potential is nothing without foresight.
In my own opinion they will never be able to fix things because they do not understand what they are trying to do or, as I have come to think, they just hate the franchise. They hate the fact that it had such a boom in it’s heyday and that they cannot reproduce it. They hate the original creators and hate the original idea of the game so much, that they will do everything in their power to distance themselves from it, while at the same time keeping the Diablo name. They will do anything to change what worked in the past, just so they don’t have to admit that they are resting on laurels of ages long past. They want to recreate that lighting in a bottle but without using any of the original ingredients, since they think that this would probably “taint” their attempt at a new creation.
Every software company has to have a priority list of tasks. Why was upping the leave dungeon time from 3 to 5s on a priority list ABOVE stash space/filters/sorting? Just think on this.
Honestly sad that you are also on the brink of leaving, as I have seen you on these forums pretty often trying your best to offer solutions and get involved in conversations, while keeping a civil tone. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, should you choose to leave this community.
