As to not shift the balance too much for you clowns that actually find the concept of starting over every season appealing - incorporate it in the Eternal Realm.
Trust, im gonna play seasons - but currently my level 100 characters in the eternal realm are ‘unfinished’ but are unable to get stronger. The ‘new paragon’ in D4 is good, but passing multiple legendary nodes that couldnt be completed due to lack of willpower or strength etc - After you reach 100 and have all the points, it could continue infinitely with the D3 style paragon where a point gives you 0.3 dex or something (From what im told).
Could also introduce Milestone Nodes - say at 50 levels above max you get another board, and every 5 actual levels is one paragon point? Again hypothetical way to give players something to do after 100. The world is relative levelling - what would the actual impact be? - pose counterpoints
Would give players like myself a reason to actually play, being able to continue progressing, keeping it eternal only wouldnt affect the Diablo 4 Delusional Elitists, they can enjoy their asphyxiated version in seasons.
Before you start on - how would this affect PVP. First off, PVP is junk, the classes are horribly imbalanced as is, but to address your point - set a militia level. Entering the PVP zone caps your level back to 100.
Those players trying to convince players losing interest once they reach 100 that seasons will be the saving grace - yall hilarious, grow up.
Seasons are multi month ‘expansions’ () where the premise is make a new character and level it to 100. I have plural level 100 characters before S1 even started - I cant stress how much I doubt im not going to run into the same issue once the season has started.
