Is D4 Pay 2 Win?

Now the cash shop is open, you can buy currency.
200 Platinum for £1.79 up to 11,500 Platinum for £84.99
So much for “cosmetic only” shop…

umm do u know what pay 2 win means? there is nothing that effects your chars power its all cosmetics

Is there purchasable player power within the store, if no then D4 isn’t p2w.

You dont win by wearing fancy cosmetics, so no, its not pay to win. Cosmetics are only worth what you value them at. For me personally, they loose their cool factor when they cost mony, you wont impress me with a armor set you bought on the store. If the cosmetic shop and premium currency is a surprise to you, you havent been paying attention, because we have known about it for a long time.

It indeed is “cosmetics only”

Dont know what you were seeing. Nothing more than cosmetics. The platinum is only usable to buy skins. Its not used ingame, only in shop.

its definitely pay to win, has also been confirmed by the dev. apart from the cosmetics look at the battlepass and you will see it clearly.

It was only a question and I now see that I made an assumption when I saw coins for sale and it was a mistake.

No it isn’t , p2w = player power , not materials for crafting .

People really have hard time understanding meaning of pay to win and not pay to win…

Having a Ultrawide monitor with 3440x1440p resolution or even wider lets you see and cast spells much further away then 1080p peasents.

My sorcerer almost teleports twice the range then someone poor 1080p player sorc.

So, yes i think its pay2win. But in a good way since i’m ultrawide masterrace.

Its not the resolution, its the aspect ratio.
Has nothing to do with 1080p or 1440p.

Also most abillities i played with are restricted to 16:9 portion of the screen.
