Is this vibe code?

At first I thought it was just some poor descriptions or maybe tranlations with the tooltips but after playing for a week and checking out more classes and so on, I think it’s sloppy vibe coding.

I’ve been testing things and there’s just a lot that point to things being made by someone or something that has to context for what they’re making. It’s not just the tooltip descriptions that are nonsense.

Cast Speed? That’s not a thing in Diablo but it is in other ARPGs and I noticed my golem could give well over 60% to my other minions so I thought that would make an easy test. It didn’t seem to do anything for the overall speed my skeletal mages would shoot projectiles, but it cleraly had some effect on their animations which got very irregular and janky.

Then I noticed on the Barbarian that the Daze upgrade for Rallying Cry wasn’t something that got applied to enemies when the shout activated. It’s a continous aura that applies to anything that comes close for the duration.

And there’s much more like this where it sort of does what’s described but it makes no sense in a practicality. It’s applied in a strange manner or to something in the wrong way.
Like “You told me to put four wheels on the car and so I did!” and they’re all on the same side.

Using vibe code for something like a mechanically complex game where clarity and interactions is so important, is laughably horrific in my opinion.
I’m sort of disappointed because I quite like the game and the turn that it’s had so far since its rocky start, and now it seems like it’ll just always have that stink.

Is it just me or do any of you get this vibe too?
