Does anyone else have any issues with stygian stones not dropping? I have been running 101 pits for that last 3 days for roughly 3 hours a day, takes 2/3 minutes per run, and I haven’t got a single stygian stone… i get that the drop rates have been nerfed slightly… but not a single stone in 9 hours of pit farming? might aswell just take tormented bosses out the game lol

Yeah same here, i got 1 in the past 2 days from about 30 runs.
Made a post about it but got no repones.
9 hours and no stone? in 40mins, 2-3mins each run i get 2-4 stones at lvl 101
May i ask what builds you guys are using to do 3 min lvl 101 pits?
No way i can even come close to that with my necro even if i survive the boss fight.
And did another 10 so far today at lvl 75, still no stone.
the problem is…this game is one big ISSUE itself

Yeah, the drop rate is low and if sometimes you get lucky and start getting a few “in a row”, you set your expectations too high. You have about 1 chance in 10 runs to get a stone. It’s a very low rate for a mat drop just to farm a boss.
I complained about that but since streamers say that the rate is fine now, of course Blizzard not gonna listen to us.
Don’t mistake your luck for the standard. I do also 101 in 2-3 mn and only get 1 stone in 10 runs. So 1 stone every ~30mn, sometimes less, sometimes more.
When I still played, farmed Pit 91s and I get like 1 every 4 or 5 runs. Takes 2-3 mins to run the 91 depending on the boss at the end.
Being thorns build sucks because it wont register most of the boss hits back to the boss…
Did 12 pits and 2 world bosses so far today and not 1 stone, c’mon Blizzard give us a break.

they shadow nerf it just like everything else … bunch of clueless devs that dont play the actual game they design … so ye
season 5 its murder allover the place … bash barb its gone if the things remain the way they are … WW bleed also gone … only viable build will be flay seems strong and rupture build … rest its all to ground zero … and thats becouse u just have a bunch of unexperienced devs that dont actualy know what they are doing … the season 5 theme its a joke … ur forced to spend 10min in their hell arena … to get no rewards… its complete destruction … if they dont change the s5 from ground
Same as i. Since I fight agais my first tormented boss, nevermore I have a stygian stone drop again. 4 weeks, pit, infernal, world boss and nothing. I think that’s something wrong with this.
Same here. At lvl 91 pit I get more or less 1 stygian stone for every 10 runs. At the same time I have tons of other materials for uber bosses. But I cannot do them because of stygian stones ;/
Looks like this thread was made last season. This season its much faster to get stygian stones from Infernal Hordes, at higher tiers you can get multible stones per run, by spending your Aether on the material chest. You get more masterworking materials aswell. There is no reason to do the pit this season.
Cool, but I’m unable to do Hordes higher than lvl 6 because my sorc is too weak. As a result I get next to 0 stygian stones. And I can do solo uber bosses with no problems. This is another case of a wrong balance with this game
