Here some quick advice to make this game actually better than it is, I’m not a dev so I am doing your job for free. Perhaps give me a invite to D5 beta in ten years and I’m happy.
Thats all I want, no money nothing.
Lets go:
1. Itemization
- Skillsystem and Paragonboard aren’t enough currently. But how the system currently works we can save this very easy. Add many midgame uniques that open up build diversity. They don’t even have to be NM100+ pushing builds.
Example of two items that can change a whole class (Rogue):
1: Grasp of Shadow currently has a chance to summon a shadow clone after damaing vulnerable enemies with cuttthroat or marksman skills.
A better atempt would have been summoning enemies after killing them with shadow imbuement active (up to 6 enemies maximum for 20 seconds) mixing in Necro abilities. This opens the chance paired with 3-4 other uniques to build a summon rogue.

Who actually thought only adding in late game uniques is fun? Where are the build defining uniques (like above)?
Something like:
a) after casting pulverize on more than 10 enemies you cast a rank [4-8] Earthen Bulwark (enhanced & preserving modifiers active) [only Druid]
b) Whirlwind now deals earth damage. After channeling whirlwind for 4 seconds cast a rank [6-10] landslide with both modifiers (enhanced and primal Landslide) [only Barbarian] -
Choose your path - either trade or no trade:
Having uniques in a game not tradable and at the same time it is more likely to get struck by lightning on a sunny day during a cs run in D2 while finding 3 Ber runes during the process is not good. I forgot to mention winning the powerball without buying a ticket to begin with is more likely. Because you could possibly find a powerball ticket on the streets with the winning numbers and win. Thats how likely a Shako find is. -
I like how all my items I find are the same requirement as my level. My twink is going to have fun with all those level 97 items. By the time my twink can wear the items already have them.
1. Paragon System
- Level 50 is max. and then we grind to 100 for paragon.
Option a) share paragon levels with all characters or a better option:
Option b) which I prefer is balance it out better by doing these:
→ Reduce EXP needed by 50% from level 50 to 80
→ Paragon Points increased by 1 from 4 to 5 per level. You have 30x5 Points
by level 80 (150 in total)
→ Increase EXP needed by 5% per level from level 80 to 90 from the currently EXP state (not the reduced from above)
→ Reduce Paragon Points by 1 from 4 to 3 per level from level 80 to 90. You should now have 10x3 (30 Points) more at level 90, so a total of 180.
→ Increase EXP needed by 15% per level after reaching level 90. Only 2 more paragon points per level. (Min Maxers stage, not necessary anymore but motivation enough to level to 100)
→ With this level 50 to 80 is faster, 80 to 90 is doable and 90-100 is not necessary but a lot harder than currently. Most players will stay in the range of 75 to 90 but being able to play most builds by level 80 duo to increased paragon points per level.
Min Maxers can still enjoy the game after level 90 but it is not required anymore.
I’m level 94 and playing solo this far is a job. Perhaps get rid of the bonus for multiplayer (exp bonus) and give it to solo players. Multiplayer actually has a bonus already by not having to backtrack everything and splitting. We solo players need the buff more.
