It's over...or almost

Okay, let’s get down to business.

I’ve been mulling something over for a few weeks now, and that something is the reason I keep playing. Because let’s be serious. The only thing I enjoy is getting cosmetics; I don’t compete to get a level 150 on the pit, and I don’t even consider it. So, as I said, I’ve been seriously thinking about how much time I should dedicate to the game, and now I think I’ve figured it out. Once I get the level 6 cosmetic from the season journal, I think that’ll be the end of it for me until the next season.

The rewards after that don’t interest me; almost everything is loot (even more so than before), and 99.9% of it goes to waste. There comes a point where achieving 1% progress is so absurd, and the reward is so laughable, that you wonder what the hell you’re still doing playing.

Add to that the fact that playing on Eternal is pointless because the gear becomes obsolete every season due to changes, so there’s no point in doing it. Similarly, some of the rewards, both seasonal and achievement-based, are character titles. What are they for? It’s not like they give me something passive like, “Demon Slayer gives you 1% damage against demons” or “Treasure Hunter” gives you a higher chance of getting more loot, etc. So, who thought this was a good idea? It’s so absurd and tedious… even looking for a title is pointless with that endless list you have to scroll through until you’re sick of it.

So my complaint is this: loot + loot + loot = a waste of time. There’s nothing satisfying about getting more loot when every time I go hunting I find loot to the point of exhaustion.

Blizzard: add more useful things to the rewards. Pets, mounts, skins, paints, etc. I think it would give more reason to keep playing.

And another thing: lower the prices in the shop. Paying 2500 platinum for a skin is ridiculously expensive. Sometimes I’d buy something, but I’m not willing to pay that much money.
