Blizzard had an opportunity to make a comeback, but did not bother. I will not be buying another season pass again. Who designed that rubbish, horrible, weak attempt of D4, what scary bliz is not bliz its a huge corporation with a dying game, admit, DIABLO games used to be so awesome till D4, now the look is bland no colour in spells no real depth in story, just ich lots of ich! Sorry, but I won’t be putting any more money into Blizzard games again. especially treated like this
I don’t understand people… If you’re paying for a game, it should only be because you actually like it. You’ve already solved your own problem. If you don’t like the direction the game is going, then don’t support it financially. Right now, there are three other games in the same genre, each offering different features and options. And each of them is enjoyable in its own way. Do what others do—if you don’t like Season 8, play something else.
Another game of this type will be entering the scene soon, so if Blizzard wants to keep its player base, it will have to take drastic measures (read: finally make a proper game), because serious competition is starting to appear on the horizon.
Personally, when I enjoy a season, I support the developers by buying cosmetics or a battle pass (doesn’t matter what game it is). But when a game goes in a bad direction, I stop spending. However, I never use that as some kind of blackmail like “I paid, so I demand you do things my way”… No. The problem is, you’re not the only person playing the game. You might not like it, but 10,000,000 other players might—and they’ll buy the battle pass.
If the season is bad and 99% of players feel the same way and choose not to support the game that season, the devs will notice. If sales drop, maybe they’ll finally take real action.
