Lack of character body type customization

Dear Blizzard,

I guess your answer will be : “Because that’s what we feel the character should look like to fit in to the role”. If I am playing a fantasy video game, after a hard days of work, why I can’t play as a character that I enjoy looking at ? I am not playing the druid class because of the horrible fat shape. I am not playing the barbarian class because of the ripped junkie look. The necromancer looks like an anorexic model.
You are a billion dollar company, why can’t you you put your devs to add a slider to slim down the body types as I chose to. Who wants to play a fat or skinny character, go right ahead. But give me a choice.
I want to play a druid but I don’t want to have to look at that chonker.
Come on.

Because each characters is a fixed character in the universe and lore , like d2 and d3 had and d1

Yup, we should have a choice of all 5 current models. Some people (even blizz employees on twitter) will say it’s “hard”. It’s total bs.
A single graphic designer could easily fit all existing armor pieces and animations to each model in a week. One month of work for a single person. Tops.

i hate looking at the lardo too but woke narcissist fergusson likes it…

THAT is exactly why i stopped playing Druid after a Day, i just can’t stand that “Wall of Flesh and Fat” blocking my view constantly.

Same thing here. Doesn’t even make the least sense, the Druid is supposed to be an animal loving plant growing type of character, I can’t fathom how it would end up so fat and force the player to play that.
To echo the original poster, we want a choice, not to remove this option if some people like it, great for them if that’s the case.

With the price we pay the cosmetics ($25 for an armor set), they should be customized to the different body options we would be given.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
