Lack of ingame community tools

For a game which has been described as an MMO-ARPG, and having multiple rando’s on the same map, the actual tools to communicate, interact and play togethor are severly lacking, especially when you compare to the options and tools that you had available in D3.

For example, chat is only available when actually on the servers, if you switch character, your chat history is destroyed.

Actually in game chat doesnt exist as there is only a few people and the likelihood of them being the same at the end of a dungeon doesnt exist.

There isnt really an opportunity to engage and create communities or proper random interaction as you get in other games.

Even PoE has global chat channels when you can chat with others and even potentially form groups.

If they had wanted this to be a single player game, why force everyone online. If they wanted it to be a multiplayer/co-op game why then make it very difficult to interact with other players.
It really doesnt make sense.

When it comes to guild tools, again they are very lacking, i posted this back in may that the details and setup is extremely poor, and they havent bothered to see what they did in D3 or what they do in WOW, which both have good tools to improve the playing with each other.

And what is really missing is communities, they really help get people involved and playing with each other.

The more you enable people to create bonds and play and interact with each other, the more longevity will be built in to the game.

My clan, which is from a multi-game streamer already feels dead with less than 20 normal loggers, and maybe 6 on at a time, this would eventually push me away from the game, as its all about community that helps the time fly when you are grinding and killing mobs.
We shouldnt need things like discord to play and interact, as there should be good tools that help this happen in game and on character select screen.

So basically, learn from what they have done in previous games to help foster positive interaction, communication and interplay.
