The real problem of the game is not getting gold, it is not tempering, it is not the excess of materials to complete your equipment.
The real problem is the exaggerated number of legendaries that drop per second. Where’s the magic of getting a legendary if I horde and get 5 or 6?
What about the gems? The cube? The runes? All those elements were at 2 and the legendary and unique ones fell in dribs and drabs and that was their thing. People played to get that piece of armor that would allow them to make a complete set. Or wait for that rune to drop to create the necessary rune words for your equipment.
Now some people will come and tell me to go play 2.
Diablo 4 was the opportunity to return to its origins, but now the damage has already been done and, as happened in 3, it receives nothing but criticism.
If we didn’t have the legendary on duty every ten seconds of the game, if we had to search for it, then the gold, the temper and everything that makes the game bad would be more compensated.
And to that they add the ridiculous idea of wanting us all to kill a super to complete the season. .Having a thousand things to do puts an achievement within the reach of few. And it makes the game boring.
Stop pandering to streamers and pandering to real gamers.
There is nothing Legendary about Legendaries… They are the most common drop… Aspects should be Rune Effects, drop randomly and enhance our Skill Tree.
D4 Team said D4 is systems game. Okay. So nothing to do with Action RPG with cool loot. Got it.
… We literally complained for months that the drop amounts were ass and they changed it.
And its a good change. I want loot pinata in an ARPG.
Also, what is a “real” gamer?
Someone who is never satisfied, no matter what Blizz does.
Rather someone who does not settle for anything they are given.
I don’t understand the point of wanting items like trading cards to drop. Maybe I’m old school and I don’t like things being given to me.
Now you go after great affixes. All items without it count as blacksmith/sell trash.
A lot of loot and good loot are two completly different things, my guy.
I don’t dispute that, but if the legendaries dropped little and always with good affixes and not so randomly it would be better.
I think i understand the OP.
There’s absolutely 0 satisfaction when you get a legendary or a unique drop in D4 compared to D2…you just get showered in legendaries, at max level you dont even want to pick up normal legendaries you only want GA gear now…
Im missing the excitement of D2 when you get a shako or an soj or any high rune drop.
I dont even know why elite or champ packs are in the game???In d2 you killed elite packs in hopes of you can find something good but in d4 whats their purpouse?
Anyhow i leveled a necro to 90 and just got bored guess because im not a d3 andy they sure love d3.5
Actually D2 was not a big sale success compared to D3. And that’s why they did go with D3 approach .
No, no it would not be.
That’s literally how D4 and D3 were designed when they released. And it was very much hated by the community and just as D3 before, D4 is now getting a better reception after it got changed.
