no problem but the screen loading just kill me, take so long to loading, this thing just make me to just give up to play D4
just take this off from game please dev
They have disabled something called DirectStorage due to some issues, this is whats causing longer load times. The info below is copy/pasted from the 2.2.2 patch notes:
We are disabling the DirectStorage setting to investigate performance issues. If you’d like to continue using DirectStorage to take advantage of faster load times on supported NVMe drives, you can re-enable it through these steps:
- Open the Battle.net Launcher
- Navigate to Diablo IV—“(Gear Icon) next to Play”—Game Settings
- Check “Additional command line arguments”
- Add: -enableds
Not at all, a long load was even before turning off the DS and a new driver could fix it.
Indeed, 2025 and we gotta sit through loadingscreens still… feels like the loading screens gets longer and longer every year.
Bro… Diablo 2 came out 25 years ago… Instant TP. Instant Warp into town. Instant Warp back out of town. Instant or barely a second to warp to other acts.
25 years ago man… 2-3 sec to load into the game…
Proof that it’s doable for new Blizzard games is games like Black Desert… The world is like 1000000x bigger and the game freakin has ONE… loading screen. ONE dude and it’s as fast as 1 dungeon teleport in D4.
The last patch again broke a time of loading. Again i must wait 20 sec., and SSD with system load on 100%. No one game doth that.
I agree with the loading screens. Even though I’m sitting with a fast PC, it doesn’t matter. The thing that takes long is finding a server. Play a season that is dead, and you will see the loading screens are much faster. We need an option to disable multiplayer, only see people who are in your group or when entering a certain event, like world Bosses and so on.
A negative part of the loading screens is that many people dont want to do cellars, just skipping them because they dont want to lose the momentum and flow of the game (me included).
