Login error Code 34203

34203 error last 3 hours no change

Hi Blizz. Don’t tell us you’re a victim of your success. Anticipate and predict… Obviously you didn’t.

Although I have made several attempts to start the game, I have received the same error code each time, denying me access. What is even more interesting is that my colleagues can log in serveral times in a row (we have tested it) and it works smoothly. It is difficult to understand why other players can access the game without any problems, while some keep getting error code 34203.

last night I managed to play but today i keep getting this error code every time i try to log in. God knows how many times i restarted the battle.net.

Code 34203… i pre-purchase the game for a closed access beta… i couldn’t connect ! it’s not acceptable from Blizzard.

I’m in the same boat as the rest here in this thread. I have now tried to login for about 3 hours with the same error 34203. Would be nice to get a response from blizzard.

my guess would be that blizzard is manually controll the traffic by excluding regions!
switzerland here with a 34203 for 3h straight now!

Then my friend would also not be able to play we are both in Germany.

ok, thanks, glad to hear that this seems not to be the case!

I also thought that it might have something to do with regions, but my colleague lives one house next to me, has the same internet provider and can log in.

Last night after quietly playing the beta and just before shutting down the PC, Windows 11 ran an update. Can this somehow be the cause of my 34203?

I don’t think so. I run Win 10 and i have the same problem.

also console players seem to be affected

Yesterday I was able to play smoothly without any issues, today (after at least 30 attemps) I get error 34203 too every time I try to log in.

My husband sitting on his PC next to me doesn’t have any issues, he could log in on the first attemp (same IP-adress).

Already tried to reset network-devices, deactivated Windows Security and firewall, ran the game as admin and so on. Nothing works - error 34203 every time. I play on Windows 11 and also installed Windows Updates last night before going to bed - don’t know if there could be a correlation.

Edit: As written a few posts later, the Update is not the issue, it’s Account-related.

@laluin
that sounds really weird. have you tried to login with his account on your pc? or otherway around, did you try to login with your account on his pc?

this might help to understand if it is pc of account-related

Same thing here. Windows 11 and yesterday I was playing with no problem, then I applied the update and today I have 34203

Blizzard any news on ?

Good point, we didn’t try this.

Tried it now and with my husband’s account on my PC and everything works perfectly fine on the first attemp on my PC. A few seconds after starting the game there’s the character menue, no error at all.

We tried it also vice versa: On his PC I also get 34203 with my account!

So this isn’t caused by the Windows Update (he hasn’t installed it yet, I have as written above), it’s a Battle.net-Account-related problem!
