I opened 10 chests and plenty more afterwards that I lost the exact count and all that in one Helltide, yet the achievement didn’t trigger.
I’ve read that for others it says they opened 6/10 if they opened 6 and then it would reset to 4/10 the next time if they only opened 4.
However, for me that entire challenge says 0/1.
And as I mentioned earlier, I explicitly took notes to make sure I open 10 different ones, I went prioritized those which require 75 cinders and then opened the others, My 10th chest was a Mysteries one, but afterwards I still had 15 minutes so I went to open all the others I found, so definitely more than 10 and the challenge did not pop. They were all tortured gifts, in a single Helltide.
If I am not mistaken, Season 1 had a similar challenge and it was bugged for me there too, is that the case again?

Definitely bugged. Just did it then in a single helltide where I opened 12 in total and didn’t get it. Says I haven’t opened any.
Helltides are terrible content, didn’t want to do anymore. Looks like I’m stuck. Glad I get to beta test their game for them.

Happened to me just now. I’ve opened 10+ chests in a single run and didn’t get it. The only thing I have done was to leave the Helltide zone for a World Boss so maybe that’s what messed it up? Not sure. But yeah bugged…

Are you shi**ing me? I’ve just opened every single chest (apart from the Legendary ones) and still not popped. How many times are you going to mess this game up? Fix it - And you’d better fix it that we don’t have to do yet ANOTHER one just to correct your bloody mistake.
I was already annoyed with this season, but given the state this game is currently in (and has been in just this season alone) I don’t think I’m going to bother in later seasons… I came back only as the last season was so good, but it seems that was a one-off.

Same here. Did 14 chests yesterday and 12 today. No dice. Please fix this retroactively so we don’t need to redo this tedious challenge.

Same for me just now Opened 13 chests including a living steel one… No achievement
same, opened more than 10 tried 3times, definitly bugged and that’s not a fun content to do so pls…
This is so frustrating. I did this last night but I opened the Mystery and Steel chests which I read could be bugged or don’t count. So I did 5 on the top half and 8 on the bottom half and still no completion. Kinda frustrating, especially since you don’t even see the “progress” since my version reads 0/1 for the “10 chests in a single helltide” Something is definitely bugged…
I tried to complete with a party, alone, opening only “regular” tortured gifts chests. It was just a big waste of time. And I doubt they will do a retroactive completion to this tedious challenge.
Same issue, please acknowledge this as a bug or provide a workaround.
I’ve noticed the next Helltide was on the same spot, maybe that has something to do with it?

the requirement is not clearly explained. “Single helltide” does not mean the event itself but the region. should rather be called “single helltide region”
means don’t cross boundaries (the white lines. no new region, no town and no stronghold.
every chest has to be opened in the same region without crossing boundaries (white lines).
