Lots of micro stutters

Hey there, I have lots of micro stutters when walking into “new areas”, where a new area is just like 1 screen away.

got a 13600KF, 32GB DDR5 and a 4070 ti. game is installed on M.2 SSD.
can’t be my setup? or is it already the case that the 12 GB VRAM of the 4070 ti is not enough?

does someone have the same issues? have you tried disabling the HD textures pack?

I won’t do it now because of ultra long login waiting times :stuck_out_tongue:

you’re not alone

playing on 10900k, 3070, 32gb ram and installed on an m.2 ssd as well

also just got a “ran out of memory and diablo 4 must close” error

back to the queue i go :’)

It happens to all, are the servers, it happens on consoles too.

for everyone with the same issue: I have removed the “High-Resolution Assets” under “Modify install” and now the stuttering is gone! (also the game is now 45 GB smaller xD)

Same thing here
3060 laptop
i7-11800H
32 RAM

try the solution above

I think it’s the servers

PlayStation 4 pro, I got it, and reported it in game.

It’s not anyone system or system specs.

It’s lag in receiving server info about other players assets.
They can just do slow loads on new charterers that need time to load into your system so you don’t stutter, this is an easy fix.
Your system will just not show the other character until it’s loaded from the servers onto your system. called texture pop-in.

Does not work for me. There’s still micro-stuttering on a 3080 and an i7-12700k.

When loading up MSI Afterburner you can see the frametime skips when it happens. Usually when entering a new area or when loading a new asset appears on screen.
