This campaign quest will not complete after talking to the council in Kurast Reaches Eru fails to walk with the player but just stands still. I see on the US forums that this bug has been highlighted several times but no response as yet with regards to fixes.
I have tried many different options suggested but non work so far.
My game is having the same issue. I wish they would fix the bug i can’t complete quest.
I’ve had the same issue… i contacted Blizzard and got a smartass reply with a walkthru guide.
The quest is simple, i don’t need a fricken walk thru. Its bugged, eru doesn’t walk. I’m at my wits end, because this quest is essential to progression, to playing the expansion. I’m starting to get really fricken angry.
Same issue, all toons…contacted Blizzard n GM told me i also had to own Diablo4, not just on gamepass, so i dont know, i can buy mounts and cosmetics on gamepass, and they work just fine…

Yes this is ridiculous. Every update I check to see if this has been fixed and finding it is still not corrected. Eru just turns in a circle and remains fixed to the same spot. If you walk away down near the SW the mini map will show where he is suppose to have moved to but as soon as you go back it reverts to having to talk to the counsel again. FIX THIS PLEASE! I play on a PC with the full game downloaded so it is not a gamepass issue.
They still have not fixed this bug. What’s the point of even playing if I cannot finish the main quests?
I am about ready to delete the game and never play a blizzard game again.
Oddly enough my brother and I have found a way around this. Now idk if it’s just cuz he’s on Xbox and not having the same problems as I am on PlayStation but I assume most of you are trying to do it on Torment 1 or higher…take it down to Penitent and Eru will follow the motions he’s supposed to. Hopefully this helps y’all…I’ve been stuck on this one part since a week after the release. So I can understand it’s completely maddening.
