I am at WT4 and level 84 and can’t use the masterworking at the blacksmith at all as its tab is greyed out and I can’t click on it!
Is this mission bugged or am I missing something ?!

You gotta go to Cerrigar and do the monolith thingy mission and get some of the mats required for upgrading, then it’ll be unlocked, you should have a quest about it in your list.
The quest says I should seek Zivek for that and when I do it is greyed out !
you need to do a 45 NM dung to unlock the plynth and the ability to do the pit then masterworking comes available, its not clear
I have the same thing.
There seems to be some bugged/broken progression here.
If the “Pit of the Artifice” quest is a requirement for Masterworking then maybe the game shouldn’t give you the quest “Masterworking” prior to doing that.
I assume this happens because of recieving materials usually found in the pit from Iron Wolves reputation.

I have the same problem on two different characters. Ones 100 done everything quest wise but cant finish masterwork at a blacksmith… now my second barb dealing with this. Kinda dumb a weeks gone by i know we arent the only two or three dealing with it.
So gotta make new characters till it works? Or what lol

I think i found solution， u must go to cerrigar to complete one of the any level in pit ，then the masterworking will be available.
