Mendeln still not working ? Damage far off for Minions. Minion/Mendeln Bug?

After the patch i expected an increase in damage just to be met with almost nothing. I think there is a slight difference in numbers but nothing to brag and by far nothing to talk about. Enough for T4 to play but almost all endgame builds outperform this by a large margin especially with decent gear and runes around 60 to 70. This should stomp T4 but it plays only ok-ish. Is this on purpose? Why does the minion build so much less damage then everybody else ?

Edit 1: Mendeln does not work properly. As if the trigger does not work correctly or the scaling. I am no expert but the damage is not correct with Mendeln. Also minions are stuck more often, standing around doing nothing, not correctly influenced by attack speed or other relevant stats and so on. Furthermore the Golem sacrifice bonus seems not to work either correctly. Blizzard do you hate Minions ?

Not my content but he’s an outside tester for Blizzard, which is actually laughable that a AAA company would choose to go that route.

Fire everyone associated with this. They had 10+ years to develop this and we got something that’s 1/3rd finished after a year and a half.

At season 8, they have fixed the issue with Mendeln that is scaling with all damage percentages. But this showed the incompetence of that item.

You see, when the other builds shine on with mechanics and faster farmings, Mendeln’s 6k damage multiplied by several thousand or million percentages still not putting a proper outcome. I tell you this as a Minion main who is paragon 220, able to push it to tier 77 and able to complete the 95% of the current season’s stuff. Mendeln’s damage output is weak.

There should be two options devs should consider for Mendeln oriented Minion build instead of releasing “Service and Sacrifice” aspect which halves your minion damage output permanently. (Because mages’ increased damage does not change the outcome or have a different damage output result instead you have to sacrifice your skeltal warriors) Or that useless Sanguivor sword while all necromancers are using Soulrift by default because of godlike defense and essence regeneration. God these new two things are like taking a piss at the top of mountain on some people down below and those people thinking “It is raining.”

  • Option one: increase the damage by tenfold. Not 6k, but 60k. Or more who cares. If that overpower Bloodwave still kicks ass even those devs “nerfed” the build, Ring of Mendeln must shine brighter than sun in that scale.
  • Option two: increase the damage moderately and remove the “6th attack” condition so minions can gnaw out the mobs instantly. Making it like an attack modifier for those minions.

For last 4 seasons, minion build has become a joke with devs not properly working on it and instead, buffing the season 2 metas changing their system with overpower thingies and as such. But minion build still pales to all. I am tired of “Duelling” with elites at Tier 80 and higher.
