Taking to Kres in the Immurement of Thorns WT3 his first dialogue option is
!!Missing!! - - 1:MenuLabel, when then takes you into a talking phase, but no conversation happens.
At this point because there is no conversation - the game just hangs thinking you are in conversation with the icon above your head.
no idea if this is known, but thought i’d report it.
Same problem on PS5 - game version 1.1.0.43223

same on pc still - completely crashes game
Same on PC still, though it does release the character lock after a minute or so.
Yes, still exists. Locks game into non-existent dialog screen.
The issue is still happening had to ALT + F4 and restart
The exact same thing happened to me as well. Had to end game using Task Manager.
Yup. Aug 12, 2023. Tried twice. Jeez, Blizzard. Come ON! I LOVE your games but… please retain your EXPERIENCED and TENURED devs.
PAY THEM APPROPRIATELY and stop funneling $$ to top execs who see things like this and only think “ah, it’s ok…we’ll fix it shortly… by the way, anybody figure out which yacht we’re taking this weekend?”
Stop letting your best devs leave (or laying them off??) to hire interns who will be AMAZING in 10 years but today?? Are a HUGE black eye for you…incessantly… and in case they don’t know that that word means… AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND… A F’ING GAIN!
I have to imagine that every single “whoopsie” like this MUST cause question marks for Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, and certainly CANNOT be good for stockholders of either company.
I love D4 but these CONSTANT “oops” BY DEVS are becoming intolerable.
