New World is far from a pile a trash…
They just did huge errors at launch: tons of bugs, players exploit to duplicate, roll back, no reactive server merge, etc etc etc…
But sadly, the game is really good: great engine, sound, graphics, animations, world etc…
And if you forced me to choose a game to play for another year between D4 and New World, i prefer go back to New world…

Lot of whiners and crybabies on metacritic to give 1 out of 10 to a game they already played 100 hours + because patch nerfed absurdly op things. Sometimes I feel pity for some ppl, à patch nerfing op things ! Zomg let’s give a 1 on metacritic, ah I feel so powerful now, eat this blizzard ahaha !
I feel pity. Those nerfs were needed, it allows more diversity and more difficulty, the game is even more interesting in hc. Damn ppl who can’t understand the game is a vision of the devs,
Not ours, they want it harder ? Why not ? D4 is going in the right way. If devs listen to crybabies it will end like d2r were there is absolutely no challenge at all, ppl making Uber Tristram in hc within the second day, absurd.

You assume to know that people who rate it low on metacritic only give it low scores because of the latest patch.
I do, the score fell dramatically since last patch. Of course there was already a bunch of trolls , crybabies and such before, but a fraction of what it is now. Not like metacritic was valuable in any way, way too much trolls and ppl who seek attention there. This absurd reaction since patch proves it, like it needed to be proven anyway.
Damn my English is low, but I guess you understood the point.

When was the last time you finished a playthrough of d2r on hardcore without getting fed gear and thought it was easier past nightmare than diablo IV is now on WT4? Just curious.

You do realise due to the hype and expectations of a good game it is entirely possible for someone to play a game for 100 hours yet not enjoy a minute of it… “It’ll get good next level…”… “Ok, after I’ve done this”… “Ugh, not really enjoying it but I had reserved this time for the game!”…
I played for around 50 hours and enjoyed around 7 minutes

I would really like to know how you got it to an 8/10
4 is a hmm possibility but nothing higher.
Simply too much needing done to bring this game up to scratch to award it anything higher.
