As the title says, necromancers desperately need a key-bind to priority move/attack to cursor.
Why?
- The AI for minions doesn’t attack what you want it to attack
- The AI often doesn’t attack when you stand still but your minions (mages) are in range, they just stop attacking
- You often have to cast a spell to get minions to attack something
- Scenario: boss spawns N adds, you don’t care you want to kill the boss, minions swap targets onto boss adds
- Scenario: boss does AOE attack, minions are still attacking or just stand in AOE
- Scenario boss is in immune phase, minions are still attacking and die due to standing in some AOE
Solve?
- Have a key-bind whereby the cursor dictates priority attack / force move (group up minions)

skeletons are especially annoying when you use blight to create a pool of shadow damage and then they wander off to attack something miles away from it
you should be able to recall skeletons to your side or command them to attack current target. even on console.
it worked well in d3 on console. i feel skeletons in that game were more intelligent
at lvl50 now, tier 2 and im getting destroyed in the northern areas of the map.
some sea hag boss in merman caves (or whatever its called) summons so many adds that skeletons died instantly and i was running around for a minute trying in vane to summon more until i died - cue yakkity sax music
that happened several times until i just gave up and quit
same with the stronghold in the same northern area. so many adds from the druid boss
This is the one criticism about Necromancer I have zero disagreements with. Losing half your damage because your minions are chasing squirrels, or success in certain events depending in the RNG with their choice of target, is infuriating.
I’ve seen my minions give it their all against invincible enemies, but when I’m frantically trying to kill a damage resistance aura nob they won’t disengage.

Really don’t understand why there is no some priority command like was charge command in D3… so stupid… minions running around and hunting squirrels when you need target focus.
They feel so useless!! In D3 they charged when you command them on target and get boost so you was able to focus them… here are they useless running around and damaging walls.
Fix this… i want working pet build with proper DMG to other classes …
Not just army of useless pets where anyway most of DMG is from you !!

this is really a frustrating issue, recently i encountered butcher as a pure minion build all my minions (its 12 minion including golem aswell) randomly running around trying to chase idiotic things while that damn butcher rips my flesh out. i tried almost every skill on the butcher if my minions decides to follow my kill target but nooo they decide what o kill first…
its really frustrating indeed and needs a priotize on upcoming patches.

Ahahahahah
I’m not laughing at you, don’t get me wrong.
I’m laughing because after 75 levels I switched to the Infinimist build.
And you know what? I WOULD HAVE made a summoner build but:
- I died three times in a NM 54 because minions didn’t attack Blood Blisters
- The shrine that makes you invulnerable doesn’t work on minions
- Without any reason, even if I use curses or golem’s active, often minions don’t attack.
I’ve written your post dozens and dozens of times since the beta.
Here in the forum, on Twitch, on Twitter.
And you know what? Nothing has changed.
Do you know what they will do in the next patch?
Minions will take less damage from fire, lightning, and ice.
We need a keybind, not more def. One key. ONE.
“Follow me”, “Attack”. You can use the same key to force minions to follow you (cursor) or to attack one target.
Easy.

They think the bugged bone prison with Mendeln is enough. Everything on the screen explodes? Explodes. So why do you need to manage all this?
can we repost this. and give it some attention. our minions need a control command. so they can go to the target location
