Missing rewards from the Open Beta

Hey guys,

I participated in the Open Beta back in 2023, but have only just decided to take the plunge and play Diablo IV.

I remember I was eligible for the titles and one cosmetic reward for reaching level 20, but was surprised to see that they didn’t appear in-game when I started. Even though it’s been a while, I don’t remember there being any notice about those rewards only being claimable for a limited time after launch, so I believe I should have received them.

I opened a support ticket, sent them the e-mails I got regarding participation in the beta, as well as screenshots of my wardrobe and character titles as proof that I did not receive anything (I think there should also be a Feat of Strength, but I’m not 100% sure on that). Their response was not helpful at all, since they mentioned that according to their records I am eligible for the rewards, but this looks like a bug and I should post on the forums (thanks for the help, I guess). Quote of the actual response ticket:

After having researched your situation, I verified that according to our records, we can see that your Diablo IV account was eligible for the beta rewards - Title: Initial Casualty, Cosmetic: Wolf Cub Pack and the Title: Early Voyager, however, since you are not seeing them in-game as you kindly mentioned, a bug seems to be involved, which is why we ask that you post this issue in our bug report forums so that our development team can provide a solution, as we are unable to assist with these cases.

I saw that there were a few other topics regarding this issue, from back when the game launched, but there was no follow-up so I don’t know if those people eventually received their rewards or not. Anyone else experience the same thing? If so, did you ever get your rewards?

This is my first time commenting on any forum really, but I’m having the exact same issue as you. I played the beta, but only yesterday installed the full game (via steam) to play but I don’t have the Wolf Cub Pack either. I was so excited to have that little guy with me on my travels :sweat_smile:

Have you heard any more from anyone regarding this issue? I’m at a loss on how to figure out what’s causing this.

I also played the beta, I thought I had played on launch, but since I have no characters when logging in I assume I’m misremembering launch with beta, anyhow, I also am missing the open beta rewards.

Unfortunately it’s been a week, the rewards never appeared, and my support ticket was marked as ‘resolved’. I think we’re out of luck to be honest…

It’s mind boggling to me how customer support (the people whose entire job is to actually help players) resorts to telling a user to post on a forum which doesn’t even seem to be checked with any sort of regularity by the developers.

Same issue here. Played beta on battle.net. Got the game on steam. No beta rewards. I am 100 % sure I earned them on the same account since I can find the e-mail that confirms I unlocked the wolf backpack.

Update: somehow claiming one of the free battle pass rewards triggered the beta achievements for me, and thus also unlocked the beta rewards. No idea how and why this worked, but it did!
