Multiple browsers using over 20GB RAM while Diablo 4 is open

This is an extremely weird issue I’m having with Diablo 4 with browsers active, usually with a livestream on Youtube.

At some point the browser starts to gradually increase RAM usage, worst case I’ve had was Firefox using 50GB of 64GB available RAM on a single Youtube tab while Diablo 4 was running.

So I changed to Ungoogled Chromium, where the issues seem somewhat less profound but still uses 10-20GB~+ increasing from somewhere about 2GB before I start Diablo 4.

The game itself doesn’t crash, nor do the browsers but I have some tabs crashing at some point with OOM, which is not strange considering it’s using 50GB~ of RAM at some point with Diablo itself using 10GB~

Do other people experience these issues as well? I don’t have the same issue in other games, at least not that I have noticed thus far. I don’t notice any overheating or other apps crashing at all.

Firefox & Chrome are known to be eager with memory, so nothing new…

Being eager with memory doesn’t clarify it only increasing rapidly over 15-30 minutes time from 2-3GB usage upwards to 50GB RAM usage.

That is beyond any normal or expected RAM usage and thus far it only happens when Diablo 4 is running.

I’ve got a laptop, without any game, and if have 2 or 3 instances of Firefox running, memory usage just starts escalating rapidly if i use Youtube, Twitch or other streaming services…
So for me it’s a browser issue, not a D4 game issue…

Not a browser issue that only happens when Diablo 4 is active not any of the other dozens of games I played in the past few months, happening in two completely different browsers with two completely different engines.

Seems legit.
