Multiple map pins?

Adding the option to place mutiple map pins would help a lot for planning quest and event routes.

Even just a second or third one would be amazing!

This is absolutely necessary. I would love to have 3 different pins I can use in either of these two formats:

1. Pins attach in series. For example; you have 3 coloured pins, white, blue, red.

  • White is your standard pin. Unless given a new operator, tracking works using the same single pin interface, except now the guide trail is white instead of deep red.
  • Blue is activated by a shift+right click combo, it’s trail leads from the white pin to the blue pin. The trail is blue.
  • Red can then be placed with another shift-right click as multiple pins is now activated by blue. it’s trail leads from the blue pin to the red pin. The trail is red.
  • If a blue pin is placed, and but not a red (2 pins on the map), then right clicking on the map will replace the blue pin. If a red pin is placed (all 3 pins), then right clicking on the map will remove just the red and another click will place the red in the new location.
  • To remove an individual pin, shift-right click that pin. If a blue is removed, white now links to red (which recolours to blue.)
  • If your party member has multiple pins set, you only see one trail with nodes where their pins are. This trail is whatever colour marker they are assigned within the party.

2. Your character is the center of the universe. Again you are allotted 3 pins, coloured white, blue, red.

  • Instead of attaching trails end-to-end, all three trails radiate out from you to their destination pin simultaneously without relation to the others.
  • Your party can only see your primary (white) pin.

…I like the idea of 1 a lot.
