This happened first time 2 days ago where i created a reddit post which has 650k views right now. Today it happened again.
I bought an item from diablo trade site from someone with a chinese name. It was a Kepeleke with 4 GA 3% roll that costed me 12 billion gold. 10 seconds after the trade was completed the item dissappeared from my inventory right in front of my eyes. I opened a ticket and the dev responded that i should make a post here. Today this happened again with a 13.7 billion item. Right now im -25 billion gold and i cant play anymore, i feel disgusted. Check my logs to see the trades. Please help me

So what you are saying is you broke blizzards rules of buying from third party sites and now you want them to fix it, or ban your account for asking ?.

How exactly did u come up with that conclusion? Diablo.trade is the main site where trades are happening. First time you hear that?
Pretty sure buying gold or items from third party websites is prohibited, and if it is not you do it at your own risk mate, has nothing to do with blizzard that you made that decision. I know it is in there rules somewhere but for the life of me i cannot find it, all i could find is this,
I saw a post from Blizzard Employee Vrakthris Vrakthris , where he/she writes the folliwing:
“Note: Any trade for real world currency is always against policy and may result in the suspension or closure of the involved accounts.”
I mean this is where it gets dodgy, if they are involved in duping items which is why it would have disappeared from your inventory it also means you were involved in accepting the duped item, see what i mean, that is another rule broken even though you were not aware of it.
Why u bring up real world currency? Where did i write something like that? Real money never got involved in any of this. Do you understand that the problem is that the item disappeared from my inventory. We are talking about something that is influencing the game’s code
Assumed as you said it was off a site, but even if it was not it looks like you accepted a dupe still, not good my man, i keep seeing this coming up in trade chat as well where people are getting their items disappear, but at the end of the day where do you think your 12 billion gold went ?, that is now being sold for real money i can guarantee so you, and in a really horrid way you were like it or not involved in it, it was your gold that they are now going to sell. I feel for ya dont get me wrong but these sites are dodgy as hell mate they do not care about anyone, only their pockets being lined with your stuff.
Unfortunately there is indeed a dupe thing happening but there is no way to know which item is dupped when we talk about uniques. I was one of the victims like many others. I am addressing this issue because it destroys the game and the devs must take action. The site is not dodgy , its diablo.trade its the main site that everyone uses from Sanctuary discord server
The thing they need to do is stop trading altogether, then it stops gold sellers and makes people earn their drops like the game should be played, no more bots, no more gold sellers, no more people being scammed, all in one fell swoop.
This is called SSF and it should indeed be an option

I was lucky with a banished lord 3 GA 60% drop. Farmed a lot also
That is not an official site, so by using it you take the risk of something going wrong.
The Dev’s didn’t really think the whole trading system through long enough, when they decided to add trading they really should have added some kind of AH system as well.
This way people like yourself who prefer to trade rather than farm for the gear the hard way, would be protected from this kind of thing.

This right here what parazac said is exactly what they should have done, added a trade point like in wow and made it so you could not do personal trade offs. It also would have protected the economy of the game as all runes and what not would have been listed and sellers would have to match or beat the other sellers price keeping the price of stuff down, i mean cmon now 10 billion for an item is ridiculous.
an AH just makes sense. stops all this BS of getting an item and it disappears. also blizzard please fix the CONSTANT DC issue Raw Hides and Obductite. the leveling is shockingly slow but ill deal with it

like players are working at Blizzard and have the tools to detect which item is legit and which is not
There are many reports about items vanishing from inventory seconds after completed trade. It might either be good old trade spoofhack from D2 making a comeback or Blizzards anti-dupe measure that will remove the item from legit player after trade leaving the scammer with your gold. Obviously something fishy is going on with the reports about items vanishing from inventories.

it happen also to me bro i bought 4GA perfect bannished lord talisman in diablo trade i thought it was a wrong vend co’z in the other day i just sold 12B 2GA bannished lord talisman,. after i linked it to my friend that i bought perfect 4GA bannished lord talisman,. i think 10 sec or more its gone,. Blizzard needs to fix this.
Whoa! Cant believe trading outside of the game with a CHINESE player would end up with you having duplicated item which disappears eventually.
Trading is not safe in this game, you are constantly either getting botted / duped items and gold or getting scammed.
I mean, this was an issue even in Diablo 2 back in the day with HRs.
Good that you’re not using real world currency. It would be terrible if you spent 13.7 billion euros , or £ on an item that you didn’t receive
But that is the problem, hell of a lot of the players are actually using real world currency to buy things.
