Nightmare dungeons is just bad

I hate nightmare dungeons, constantly being stressed out about dying randomly, always getting chased by something that will make me not play my character, having to wait 5 seconds between pulling each group of mobs. edited by moderation

I would rather blizzard bring back greater rifts from diablo 3, atleast there you never have to worry about dying, you don’t get stressed, nothing is chasing you, no annoying or frustrating affixes and you don’t even need to loot anything, you only have to worry about 1 thing: killing monsters and getting a massive loot explosion at the end.

I think i’m just going to completely stop doing NM dungeons and focus on normal dungeons instead so I don’t end up hating the game.

Eventually you will do NM since you must uprade your Glyphs which boost you alot…Just take a brake and do normal dungeons and when you feel stronger start NM again :ok_hand:

it is excactly the same as D3 man (even worse lol). Maybe play beyond the campaign to see by yourself?

I’m past the campaign and it sucks. d3 had more fun end game then this boring shit

Well I really like diablo 4, but there are some parts of it that just feels bad.

Nightmare dungeons is one of them I just don’t want to be stressed when playing a game, even though I don’t like timers either I actually prefer that over having death limits.

I like world bosses but I hate that there is like 6 hour timers for them and you have to structure your life around it so you don’t miss out.

I like helltides but losing half of your cinders when you die just feels awful and reminds me of the maw in shadowlands, they should remove that aspect of it imo.

I also really dislike gear not dropping at the max itemlvl, one of the best things with diablo 3 is that when you reached max level all the gear you find in the world will be max itemlevel, getting itemlvl 600 sacred items at lvl 100 in world tier 4 just feels terrible.

But overall the game is great and a huge improvement over diablo 3.

Wrong, Vanilla D3 had basically no end game when it came out. I was one of the few that still enjoyed it farming inferno where upgrades were rare, and legendaries were useless. D4 has far more options and potential.

Fully fleshed out D3 having had an expansion and 20+ seasons has more end game but that is years of progression post release.
