This game is nothing but simple mix of the other games in the market. Nothing new or creative. Combat is still damn boring like D3 making you fall a sleep. UI just from Wow or money sucking Korean MMOs. World boss? This still make me laugh so hard. What da hell is that for? Why there should be world sandbags that random 12 noobs keep punching? I don’t even see a need of horse in this game. It’s just for cosmetic shit. It looks they put all their the efforts on cosmetic goods for money from old fanboys here not gaming system.
I really like to thank to Blizz for letting me play beta. I really didn’t want to make mistake again like when D3 released.

Yeah, pretty much every live service game has to have some kind of way to make money to continue delivering. You really expecting DLC’s etc. and live service on one or two payments? I don’t want to sound like I’m defending the money making, but folks of today want more and more, more seasons etc. - blizzard have stated there would be no P2W like Diablo Immoral, if they keep it with cosmetics and battlepass, I’m all for it.
I don’t mind paying a subscription to keep a game alive and delivering content.
World boss is a great addition to keep it from the usual do dungeon fight same boss x1000.
As for noobs, it was a beta, I downed Ashava two times with 7 people, skill issue I guess.
Horse is needed, have you travelled to newer areas, it’s awful. It gives a chance to roam when not needing to level but to get to a place where there are no waypoints.

I respectfully disagree. Tried a rogue this beta and loved the gameplay. Dashing and shadowstepping around, throwing knives and blades and killing bosses quite quickly… felt great

I’d have preferred they spent abit more time balancing and did it better… instead of waiting for the torrents of abuse to hotfix it.
I’d have liked a Crusader or Paladin at start of Beta. A proper fighter class not a sissy barb class for the cosmetics. What are we Vikings or Celts?
Overall the game world looks amazing, the side quests are quality the ambient music and sounds are great, there’s room for improvement for sure, the combat mechanics are ok, not the best, I had to rebind most of the keys. I don’t like not being able to move the Ui, the Xbox/Ps Ui looks alot better than the pc version.
The World Boss issue was only an issue for the Beta and Slam… on release it’ll be a non issue when it’s being farmed by lv 30 players…

Stay chill for the moment, we have not seen yet the gameplay at end-game, e.g. if you play D3 at level 20-25 only will be even worse. I even found a build that feel fun for me at level 20, so can not wait for the release to level up with that build!

Other than excessive use of core abilities on some of the classes, I disagree.
UI is very mobile gamey, but I guess every games following this trend. I find the item tooltip to be the worst part, d3’s was by FAR superior.
We don’t know what the rest of the zones are like yet, they may be a bit more stretched, but yeah for SURE cosmetics had some part of this decision to add mounts.
What issues do/did you have with D3?

The problem of the games nowadays is simply that one tries again and again and also does it, to make each class equivalent to the other, instead of giving nothing on balancing and to build the classes really authentically and with sense and to give it then still 2, 3, 4 skill branches, which distinguish it in itself again, with a certain basic aspect which remains then the same.
So you have a rogue that has to do massive AE damage like a mage and has to be survivable like a servant class.
And instead of simply finding strengths and weaknesses of a logical class fantasy here, you have one-size-fits-all, and you have it because it’s an end-game comparison with sports game aspects and spreadsheets.
You’re forced to rob all the classes of their actual gameplay out of a logic and then give them all nukes and grind off the weaknesses that are there out of a normality.
And then you do that very clumsily with a mechanic that’s always the same. And I guarantee that the next class will be exactly the same and will have the same mechanics, but with different names.
This fact alone, around the classes and their actual mechanics, makes the games flat and boring and monotonous and prevents even then with a reasonable world building and class synergies that supporters and CC classes can play along, whereas this does not work in aRPGs so, but this also refers to MMORPGs.
And all this just to serve a simple endgame crap that can be easily expanded.
And we’re not even talking about co-op systems and world ambitions without scaling.
You unfortunately degenerate RPGs by stupidly interfering with actual fundamental basic features and basic mechanicsm without which RPGs simply don’t work properly. The result has been visible for a long time.

D1 and D2 are fantastic games.
D3 was ok but lost a little connection with what Diablo was all about.

D4 from what I have seen so far has nothing… Nothing to do with the Diablo series.
It’s a complete cluster**** when it has no WSAD support since Diablo should and always has been a PC game first. Not a console game ported to PC like this one is.
D1, D2 and D3 you walked around and was the hero at your own pace. Now what? you and xXTh3On3Xx + -=AimXHere=- + &Rob567898& and god how many other you meet ingame that you in fact have no interest in playing with but you have no choice. Now that is just bloody fantastic is it not? you wanna go and clear a dungeon as a hero in your pace. Nope better hurry the **** up or all you will be doing is walk around picking up scraps and gold after the other gamers that wanna speedrun the game. Fantastic indeed.
They call the game Diablo. Where is Diablo? or any of the Prime evils??
Na this game has nothing to do with Diablo series and should in fact never have been named Diablo 4.

If you really are looking forward to this shit, maybe take a look at at D1 or D2.
if you have set a whole week off work for this then you will be inside for over a year if you try D1 or D2.

No, I am a veteran of all types of ARPGs, Diablo 1 and 2 were both terrible games at the time, baldurs gate dark alliance was a far superior experience, the d20 system was tried and tested from dungeons and dragons and diablo, at the time , was a cheap clone.
