One hit kill mechanics is almost always lazzy, cheap design decision. Ignoring all your stats and upgrades, rendering all your progress and equipment obsolete as if doesn’t matter at all. This is RPG, right? Where your stat’s MUST MATTER. One hit kill is only accepted from Death type monsters. Where it’s in their lore to one hit kill by any means. In all other decisions it’s just absurd and insult to players of said game
I get into the level 41 pit, the mobs are good, the boss gives me a oneshoot. Over 55,000 HP, fortification and he does that to you. Where’s the fun in that? It’s absurd. HP, resistances, armor, fortification, all ignored regardless of your numbers.
And now I think, if a level 140 boss kills me, how am I supposed to face a level 200 uber?
Someone tell me a barbarian build for that, because I thought mine was good, but seeing what’s happening it seems to me that I’m wrong about something.
This game has become a “raise the numbers as high as you can and pray you dodge attacks.” Ridiculous.
The pit bosses are weird. I have 38k something Hp, capped ressistance and armor and still at 55ish pit level i sometimes get 1 or 2 hits in and i am dead. But some elites can do that too. I am not sure what this is but i think there is something with the res or armor going on and not working or bugging?
Also why are the drops so stingy in the pit? The exp is fine but thats not the purpose for the pit. No loot except a couple of scraps at the end. If they want me to run this way too many times there should be a reason aka reward.
It doesn’t matter how much HP, DR, Resistances or Defense you have. Certain bosses or monsters just have kill on hit
I run the PIT in less than 1/4 of the time, but when I get to the boss(es)… I’m more afraid of the shadow bosses than the boss himself. Sometimes the ground is so full of things that insta-kill you that there is no where to move.
make a necromancer :=) problem resolved … u can speed farm t100 , even tho u has to be carefull where u step cuz u still get 1 shoted ^^
remember tho its first time pit got out … so they just overtune it … so they have space to work it … instead of undertuning … and every1 would simply just get in there and 1 shot mobs … be patient it will get right but takes time
My intention was to create a necromancer as the second character of the season, I always like to change, that’s what I did in D3, but since I have to farm to try to kill the ubers…I don’t know if in the end I will do it, because between I’m starting to get tired of the farming and oneshooting of the bosses.
problem at this momement … u have way too many steps to just summon 1 boss … they should simplify the materials thing for exemple … varshan … use 25 heads 25 hands etc… and u when u kill u get 25 eggs same with gregor … would make the gamer life a lot easyer … and more casual friendly … since 80% of player base got jobs got kids got a life … not every1 spends 24/7 ( thats mainly streamers and unemployed ppl)
WTF are you talking about? Play other characters to complete what should be completable by any character? And it’s not only The Pit. It’s Uber Lilith and Tormented Bosses versions
The bosses are stronger and builds are weaker. Pit bosses are so strong in low levels that you can’t master your items. I don’t stand to run Duriel to get nerft ubers and don’t want to run OP Pits to master them.
Helltides are good, but you can’t run them for ever.
Let us master our items so we have something to do in the game.

I did pit 78 no problems until the boss layered a couple of things in a second and my HP was gone… 46k HP all res and armor capped. Not even time to react just boop. I think it is elemental damage… not sure but it looks like it bercause res cap is normal at 70 and armor at 85. I think i got hit with an ungodly amount of elemental damage. A combat log would be nice.
I have 1600 hours in Lost Ark, there are good mechanics. Those pit bosses mechanics are trash. One shots are are boring and annoying. Potions are useless. Too much mess going arround at higher pits like 75+.
They have too much hp and classes are unbalanced. Frozen orb sorc even with shako have hard time with bosses, meanwhile necro just almost one shot them.
Sorc sux hard. How can Blizzard make so unbalanced classes its worse then D3.
Can you make it more like D2 and not like some super hardcore WoW bosses? This hard content is generaly played by 5% players, everyone who got into higher pits will tell it sux.
Then u have people clearing pit 150
Pit sucks indeed. When you go higher Tiers, they have way too high HP. I mean I can boost my attack power during battle up to 450,000 and it still doesn’t feel enough
