No other players?

Soooo… two days now… Im playing and there are no other players around… My level is 27, I used to see other players… What is going on?

You’re lagging behind a bit (I assume you are playing a Seasonal character), by this point in the season most will be over level 50 and in Tier 3 & 4 worlds.

Im new to this game… Im not sure I understand. I am playing the main quests in the main game, not the new seasonal one.
So… everyone left the basic game and playing the seasonal?

I’m sure there are probably other people playing on non-Seasonal too, but they are likely nearer to level 100 and playing on World Tier 4.

You won’t see people that are on World Tier 4 in your world.

It does seem unusual that you are not seeing anyone at all, but that’s a different conversation (About how Diablo 4 is a dead game).

I was hoping that I did something with the game settings and started playing private or that its a games bug and everyone had the same problem…

I havent played for two week and this happened? Daaaamnnn…

Same story here, played for 2 days and seen around 9 other players, but the world chat is very quiet and struggling to find a clan which is not already full to capacity… may as well be on single player mode.

truth is d4 is a giant scam and not a 2023 worthy game. I have been playing Diablo games for 20 years and it hurts me but the game is not really playable as it is. Paid good money for it. Blizzard made 700 mil of it and is bragging to investors. Player satisfaction is not considered. But we will learn. We are slow learners but we learn… Blizzard should take a good look at what is happening to Disney now if they think they are too big to fail

Zever, they also boasted that over 7 million characters have been created in Seasons. What they didn’t say however, is that they are mainly named loot1, loot2, loot3…

As for the OP, you’re experiencing a byproduct of level scaling. Instead of a world twice as big that has various levels, they chose to have the whole map scale with you. This creates the requirement to move to different difficulty tiers, instead of areas on the map like it should have been.

What you’re dealing with now, is that most of the players have moved onto different tiers to keep progressing.

I moved to another game to keep progressing. I killed the 3 dungeon bosses and 2 world bosses in 2 days. Grinding skeletons and goatmen till my eyes bleed out is not for me.

I know what you are saying and I agree, but if I was a developer I would design a game that doesnt make 50% of its content obsolete after 2 hours of play. Like Diablo2 where you can still find people to do tombruns or tristruns on normal. Nightmare and Hell multiplayer has mostly died off tho after 20 years. Full of Baal runs though
