There’s no actual way. I have to be missing something. Do deluxe owners get the dlc? Do I get a discount on it for owning and playing the game already? Why is someone who never played diablo paying the same amount to get the game and dlc as I paid for your five season long closed beta? Oh and to continue experiencing the game and its content, I get to pay $40 MORE? So now, someone buys the game gets expac+game for $70, where I pay $110? Like if the game had been polished and good since release, I MIGHT get it. But we’ve been playing a campaign and some generic, uninspired seasonal content with half finished mechanics. This season is fun, fantastic, even. But then you gotta ruin it by posting some nonsense like this.

Yeah, normally I don’t have an issue with dlcs. but to make it the same price we had to pay for the actual game for new players to get the game and the expansion is a slap in the face. Especially since the game was and still isn’t great. One good season out of five doesn’t justify me paying 40 more dollars to hope they fixed it.

hy do i have to buy the expansion vessle of hatred when i bought the ultimate edition of D4 at launch, does the first expansion not come with the ultimate edition of the game. i payed £90 for the game at release now your asking almost the same price for an expansion which should be free under the ultimate purchase

Comparing Elden Ring and Diablo 4 is asinine. Elden ring is a clearly finished product that has insane value in every aspect of its game. Diablo is not that. Diablo has not achieved that in any aspect. Its certainly improved since season one, but it is NOT an Elden Ring quality game. I felt I got my time and then some out of Elden Ring. Every time I play diablo 4, it just leaves me feeling… uninspired. Because that’s what the gameplay is. Uninspiring. D4 should be DEFINING modern arpg and its not even meeting the quality of the others on the market.
Why would I spend 40 dollars on a game that has done almost nothing but let me down outside of this last season, when other people are getting it for half that price?

1 class and 1 zone for 40€ , they are disconnected from reality… this should be D2 successor, why they giving us 1 class like Reaper of Souls? And not 2 “new” classes like D2 Lords of Destruction… are they turning D4 into D3?..

You can play it offline and you dont have to be dependant on server or internet conection. can play it anytime.

You get what you payed for in elden ring, and they dont keep asking you money for skins and other cosmetics. Most of them are in game drops last i check, and they dont have a cash shop on top of a payed for game.

Elden ring is more focused arround single player diablo 4 suposebly more multiplayer, yet i see more people interact online in elden ring then i see in diablo 4.
Either way cant really compare a real good game with a unfinished live service… two diferent worlds… i would more fast pay 100 bucks for elden ring xpac then i would pay half for d4 again… and the reason is simple… elden ring is a game made for gamers to enjoy… diablo 4 is not a game… is a live service meant to take your money… so yeh its uncomparable

Difference is, that elden ring is actually a good game.
And offers more actual worthwhile content.
Also side note, the new ffxiv expansion is cheaper than vessels of hatred and i guarantee you, that it will be vastly superior in quality and quantity of content

Yep. I will be buying FFXIV’s new expansion and will be busy the rest of the year.
Blizzard can go take a hike. As other’s already said, with Christmas/End of year sale you can probably already pick it up at half price or better yet, MS adds it to their GamePass.
