OMG new exploit that break game

People did figure out how to transfer items gold from ethernal characters to seasonal. They should hotfix it asap. Its really easy to do. Just ask youtube how to do it >again same as shako exploit no one will be banned.
They should check every player that archived lvl 100 so fast which way they get it >if they did exploit perma ban them all

You are not supposed to share information about exploits on the forum since the only thing you achieve is more people knowing and abusing it. Create a ticket for stuff like that.

Not really when you open a ticket about a bug >they send you back to forum

Haha. Ban for what? This is not competitive game in any way, shape or form. They will fix the exploit and that is. Its single player game with forced always online mode, no one cares if someone is cheating or not.

Reset the season please, we are tired of glitches and bugs.

Shako was a bug, not an exploit.
IF people are transferring stuff from eternal realm to Seasonal Realm (which I highly doubt they are), they will be banned because that is an exploit.

Why do you spend so much time searching for bugs & exploits?
Are you looking to try them yourself?
Are you a Narc?

Most of my entourage has already moved things from the Ethernal to the Hardcore season…and gold.
Haven’t logged into the game since the last hotfix and witnessed this failure.

They ARE and letting the rest of the people know how f-ed up this game is is not a crime.

An exploit is when you abuse a bug to get an advantage, so they are correct, it was an exploit of a bug.

Which is what happened with Shako as well. People exploited a bug in the game to get an advantage, just like those who exploit a bug where you can transfer gold etc to a character on the seasonal realm.

How did they exploit the Shako bug?

As far as those players knew, they got damned lucky. If it was exploited, there would be far more than 142 of them out there.

The drop rate got jacked up by mistake. Not an exploit.

They spam click opened same chests multiple times while ''opening chest ā€˜ā€™ was ticking

As far as those players knew, from watching Streamers abusing the bug aka exploiting, they knew exactly what they were doing.

A bug is not an exploit. Learn the difference, alright? An exploit is when you ABUSE a bug or a mishap from the devs to your advantage aka something that isn’t working as intended. Do i need to explain the definition of abuse as well? I certainly hope not…

It really isn’t hard to wrap ones head around such an easy subject, it really isn’t. It’s not rocket science.

i knew i thought it was weird when i saw ppl bid a 825 1h sword on discord for 16b gold, like how the heck did he manage to get those gold from???

So, your assertion is based on your assumption that everyone watched streamers do it and rushed to play to the game to do it themselves.

If that were the case, there would have been far more than 142 drops.

I dunno why people calling certain things a bug.

Like for example, that Shako fiasco. How was that a bug. Sorcs and barbs have no helmet unique. So obviously when the rate for helm unique hits for these classes, Shako will be high on the new loot table. It is nobody but the devs fault for not adding a code to decrease unique chance for specific classes in that scenario. A code working as intended but with undesirable results is not a bug.

let them do lol, this game is dead anyways! better to ruin this crap game for the 100€ they stole from me

No, not everyone who watched the streams did it, obviously, because most humans are born with common sense and a built in moral compass, and manages to differentiate right from wrong, and exploiting something like that, is obviously wrong, which the majority most definitely knew already.

I’ve not once, assumed anything.

Because a bug is a bug. Plain and simple. A code wrongly written or wrongly placed makes for a bug, be it the loot tables or drop rates.

You see, that’s the thing. The code didn’t work as intended which resulted in a bug. Good grief, some folks here need to go educate themselves a bit more on this particular subject.

So just hypothetically, if a bank employee accidentally left two gold bars at the counter, the correct thing for you to do is to take them? Clearly you lack a moral compass and common sense if that’s the case.

I just watched a youtube video about it, showing exactly how to do it etc. I have posted on the US forums about it but haven’t put any details about how to do it.

I think you are the one that needs to be educated. As a coder, I can see how a well-written but not well-specified code can have that undesirable effect. It does not mean it was a bug, just not a good code.

And the bank analogy is for what again? It contributes nothing to the argument. As the dialogue did not pertain to people benefiting or having a drawback from the ā€œbugā€.
