Why do we still have an “old” version when the new season is behind the corner? I don’t want to start it by updating the game…

Is there any progress? I heard it was 08:00 (PST), is it true?
Everyone starts by dowloading 2.5 Gb at the same time worldwide. So you could start the season 6 hours later when they fix the login crash.

When a new WoW expansion hits you can download the complete expansion without being able to play it until the time it goes live.
That should also count for Diablo IV.
Best guess is that we can download it one hour before it goes live or half an hour.
But i honestly have no idea.

Check for update now, patch is available. Might have to update & restart bnet first.
LE: Download speed sux arse though… imagine downloading with 80-128 KB/s in 2023

It was about 7.6GB, it downloaded quite fast for me. The update started about 15mins ago.

This is Typical Blizzard, almost 8gb download an hour before season starts and then making download so slow that we cant start season today. I’m running at 18kb/s atm for the last 5 mins. Guess season starts tomorrow for me

At least they could publish the patch notes so we can read them during download…
I would expect they know how to handle online games, but… 31mins to season start, I started downloading, tomorrow I will be ready to play.
Patch notes have been up since the 10th dude…
Now, if you’re talking stealth changes, those will never be up.

Don’t worry, it just has some rough spots, but it will finish in 10-15 min. It did for me.

Yea same here, it was volatile but jumped to 13-15MB most the time.
The download does not work this is funny 50 kbs
