PC/Steam and PSN Cross-Progression

Got Diablo 4 on PS5 at launch, got it on Steam over the holiday. Linked my steam to battle.net, but that didn’t give me any of my save data from my PSN saves, so I linked PSN to battle.net as well

But all that served to do was sync my steam and playstation saves so all progress was removed on PS5 as well

Any way to reverse this situation, and to properly sync from Playstation progress to Steam?
