Permanent Account-wide map completion?

I’ve been wondering, if they wanna make D4 as accessible as possible and improve the gameplay overall, why not make the map completion completely permanent instead of leaving out strongholds, quests and dungeons, I understand that you don’t really need them once you do them once because you have all the account-wide rewards already, but why not just let us have them all done permanently? It’s feels like a boring hassle and a waste of time doing Dungeons, Strongholds and quests every season over and over when it contributes no real value to the game, please Blizz just let us have this completed forever once we’ve done it once, it will only do good for the game.

On the topic of having Aspects unlocked at the start of seasons due to dungeons, simply make it so the aspects are locked until level 50 UNLESS you do run that dungeon to unlock it earlier than that, thus keeping the season-start of grinding your most valuable aspects early while everything else unlocks post level 50 so you don’t have to (you don’t really have to, but you know, completion) re-grind all the dungeons again. As for Strongholds, it doesn’t really make sense as the timeline progresses that we have to do the same quests and clear the same stronghold from the same threat every 3 months.

Thoughts on this?

Please Blizz, make it happen on Season 4 if it is possible so we don’t have to wait more months or even years for something that would probably take at most several hours to do for a single person.

As long as they force the sharing and don’t give us a reset button for the account shared elements I’m going to say hell no.

That’s already what it is, and there is absolutely zero benefit to repeating them other than to get your dungeon aspects, it’s just boring

I think that a quick aspect is a fine reward for a dungeon, weak one. Conceptually it’s a good idea that I can go to a specific place, clear it and reap a powerful reward for my early game. But practically, I won’t do a stronghold for a half strength aspect; what’s the point? The early game is easy, might as well run with whatever I get.

Better would be if there was a different reason, and there is: Legions unlock with fortresses. But as the greedy person I am, I want more.
Some fortresses become villages with a waypoint, also a good reward. One thing that I want in that context is that villages are actually useful for offloading quickly or for some kind of supply. I don’t know what exactly, or how.

An idea that came to me when reading your topic is that I want random map pieces, unscouted. Fringes of the map. Hell perhaps? That those pieces constantly reset and need to be rescouted and always contain various features. They’d change every other day, perhaps? Giving a fresh, random, map to explore. Because I feel that’s missing when I’m running the same places hundreds of times knowing every nock and bend.
I enjoy familiarity but I also enjoy exploration.

My vision of D4 would be that there was a random map with random exits. Those exits lead to either harder or easier places, or villages for resting, selling and what activities there’d be available.
I miss the randomness, the exploration. Everyone hated the d2 jungle but it’s the map I loved the most. Didn’t in particular enjoy the murder midgets though, they always got me suddenly slain.

Anyway, I don’t run a fortress that doesn’t convey a benefit. They should be more than this, I feel. Like the druid tree grove should be something special. Maybe they’d sell herbs there? Maybe not also. I don’t know what it should be but restoring the tree leading to nothing is disappointing and leads to avoidance.

I also would like it if quests always presented a relevant reward. I think it would be fun to happen upon quests, doing them on the fly and getting rewarded rather than seeking them out. Like if I see a quest, I don’t click it. The only quests I do is those items found that I hand in. I do those out of some roleplay purpose, that I figure it’s only a minute and I can pretend a little for a moment. They should give something tangible, like a big gold bag. Or something else.

I feel that the answer isn’t a permanent unlock but rather improving the incentive to clear them. Aspects is a good reason, so is a waypoint and a legion unlock, but even more is needed. Perhaps unlocking other special areas? … Don’t really have any good ideas.

I want to reset the transmogs. I see benefit, when I come back after a year or two, I see every thing done, skill points already available, it’s kinda ruining my fun.
