The one-shot mechanics in the Pit boss fight are incredibly frustrating. Even a heavily tanked Barbarian with maxed defenses and 75k life can be instantly killed, not even by the main boss, but by a random red add. This mechanic feels unfair and unenjoyable.
It’s mainly 2 bosses, Spiritcaller of frost by far the worst in the pit after level 65 or so. Noways you can play HC against that boss and not be ended.
8-12 masterworking levels are so much pain I probably gonna quit.
But friends, they fix it in next Season. We only have to wait about 3-months, so lets go back then.
Indeed, I have no issue running the Pits high but I just dont have absolutely no interest in zooming through the trash but end up spending 10 mins almost trying to kill a boss where every hit from it 1 hit KOs and no chance of continuing from that HP anymore and must restart from full hp.
Next week comes a patch where they adjust / balance gold and what not, might become cheaper next week who knows. I hope it does because its painfully slow to get 8+ masterworking as casual player.
Yeah imagine if in Action RPG with LOOT system a good gear would actually keep you alive and have a purpose. Pit is nothing but DPS and dodge 1 shots. Also mats are RNG RNG RNG crafting-time spent-playing-metric trap for players because of shareholders. No thanks.
I could most likely push up to 80+ easily if it wasnt for the bosses having so much 1 hitting things in the fights. Think I just need to start adjusting my build into having permanent flameshield on… Yay…
This is Diablo, not Dark Souls or Elden Ring. Please don’t go down the path of one-shot mechanics. We want walls to overcome, not snipers that don’t let us progress.
